Thing about adverts showing melting pot families is not so much political or social plugging of multicultural UK its just about flogging a product. To catch your attention they show "mixed" marriages/ partners. Its to titillzte your curiosity or resentment or whatever. Sometimes they show a black bloke with blue eyes or ginger hair. It's like click bait but on the telly not the computer. Multiculturalism itself is favoured by folk who live in splendour away from poor areas where people from all sorts of backgrounds and countries are thrown together to compete for crap jobs and substandar

Was at a funeral last week of a good mate. Three of us made a speech.One of the speakers, (not me) recalled his favourite saying when he was younger:" there,s no such thing as ugly woman and if there's no women about I'll make do with a crack in a cup".Didn't go down too well, with the vicar but got the whole church rocking.??

It doesn't take much to get Wilf going. Seriously I don't think any kid getting a hot meal courtesy of Rashford will be calling him "black b*****d". Shame on the tory shite for holding out so long against the idea. If it wasn't for the colour blind millions who supported Rashford, the roll out of the free meal programme would never have happened. Somebody said to me the other day as a lad who grew up within a stones throw of Old Trafford that I must be proud of Rashford. And I genuinely am. It was good to see Man Utd' s Marcus Rashford being cheered by the Everton crowd the other night. Obviously for his campaign for free school meals for poor kids. Liverpool seems to still have that working class community spirit which all of us oldies grew up with.
