Just from my observations of german people on holiday. They seem pretty much like us in outlook. They like the same sports.They drink gallons of beer and scoff rubbish food. They have produced some awesome footballers but very few top boxers. I wonder why? I was brought up to hate the jerries, not only did they bomb our chip shops, but every house and factory in our area including the docks. Bert Trautman, the Man City keeper suffered a broken bone in his neck during the game. When he went up for his medal, his neck was visibly crooked. He was a kraut. i can remember centre forwards, centre halfs and goalkeepers were expected to put their heads where the boots were flying. A couple of seasons back, one of the Man U defenders accidentally trod on his goalkeeper's toe ( De Gea) . He went down screaming in agony and the opposition scored from a totally open goal. The worst thing was nobody criticised De Gea. They all criticised the ref instead for not blowing up. As Victor Meldrew says. Unbelievable!

Definitely an excellent squad. I think you are right about Bellingham being the best at the moment. Looks like he sold his soul to the devil to be that good lol. Agree about the centre backs, they are too wooden and unathletic. They will be found out against the best sides. Still beating Italy is not a shabby result. Good on em.

Just checked out Al Jazerra. Their coverage is identical to the west's coverage. But that proves nothing. The Bin Laden family and the Bush family were business associates and the Bin laden family plane was the only plane allowed to fly out of America after 9/11. How good is Bellingham? At current crazy prices, I would say bids should start at about £250,000000 . Looks like he is an elite player already and he is still a kid. Pity Madrid got him. He's probably at the best club for his talent, but I would love to have seen him play in the premiership.

Yeah, I can't deny the sense of a lot of the above posts which suggest all is not at it seems. Land rover owners are a special breed. My son's got one along with a boat and a motor home. He's forever spending on it, talking about it. Doesn't go far in it, but always gets it MOT'd and insured. Yeah.Ive read similar. Sometimes I think these bird and wild life bodies do more harm than good. Must be lots of parent birds abandon their young when their nesting areas are invaded and their young have rings put on. Similarly, when animals are sedated by darts and have collars put on. The stress and the anaesthetic must cause casualties. But hey, it keeps people in jobs.
