Dubois ran out of self belief. He wasn't that hurt, but he was grateful the ref called it off. A true fighter would rather be carried out rather than quit. But imo Dubois quit. He quit when he had an eye fracture against Joyce and I thought that was sensible, but I know others thought it was unacceptable. Joshua also quit against Ruiz imo. Aj is great at beating up lesser opposition but he doesn't like it when he gets a punch in the mouth. You can see the fear in his eyes. Both are not the real deal. Overpaid and overated.

There have been boar dogs imported to the UK. Amazes me how they focus on one prey animal when there are enticing smells of deer, fox, hare etc. I suppose its the same with foxhounds. They can run-through sheep and stay focused on fox...in theory. Working boar dogs here would be strictly under the radar.

Police in Scotland will descend and confiscate your guns if you leave the door open on your cabinet or have unlocked ammunition . Should be the same for XL bullies. Lethal b*****ds with no legal controls. I'm all for freedom but not freedom to endanger other people with a creature over which there is little or no control. The majority are owned by inadequate fucktards. Sorry for off thread point.

Keep posting 'Token'. Its a new world out there to me. Wilf ,I am not practising positive discrimination Lol.

That's right mate. As long as you make an effort to stop your dog chasing quarry, you are within the law. I tell my dogs" to stop that immediately".

Don't forget a good kick up the arse occasionally. Kindness is wonderful, but negative conditioning can be very effective.

Wow, everyday is a school day. Very interesting info mate.

Not true! Never seen Wilf attack Stiff. Stiff is to Wilf as Mchull is to CP. I'm only jealous because nobody is my faithful friend on here. I'm having counselling.
-
True. But imo, more true in the UK. Finland, Norway and Sweden don't have our obsession with banning field sports. They are recognised as a right and part of their national identities.
-
Whatever gave you the impression Wilf doesn't like you? I'm wracking my brains.

Which one is Sarah Palin?

That's true, but it's not just the new generation of lefties who misguidedly embrace whacko causes from transgenderism to the alleged mistreatment of animals during field sports. The whole of the UK, left , right and liberal has become 'Disneyfied'. The nordic countries are politically left and America very right wing, but field sportsmen in these countries are free to pursue their hobbies without this constant 'moral majority' of hysterical criticism and legislation you get here. Nobody would dream of interfering with others' ways of life in these countries. There's something uniq

Well said.

That's bit hard on the bloke.

I think background and attitude matter a lot in the sport. You don't get rich kids in boxing. Certain areas like the North West, Scotland , Northern Ireland, the North East and London produce more than their fair share of hungry fighters. In the ring McGrail fights with venom and determination. His background gives him that. He's like Mchull on here. He never knows when he's beaten.
-
Just watched Mcgrail v Mendoza. On the undercard of Catteral fight. Excellent. McGrail is a nightmare. You can see the enjoyment of fighting in his face. He's a first to the punch, street hard scouser, but with brilliant combinations and skill. He's one to watch.

Think Wodder's owner might be single.

Breath of fresh air. Brilliant. I watch a lot of old fights on Youtube and the contrast with the present day is chalk and cheese. No staged press conferences, no ring walks, no building up a fighter's record with ten or so journeyman before they fight in earnest. Evenly matched fights and camaraderie and respect after the contest. Will watch this one.

What you write is true CP, Wilf. It's a shame the England job has been devalued, mainly by the press. The job is now seen as second rate . Not to be touched with a barge pole. What a tragedy. I hope at some point Howe is given a crack at the job. I think a lot of players and fans would really get behind a manager of his calibre.

Yep, both brothers have met me.Lol. Bobby threw a mud caked football at me when I asked him for his autograph and knocked me over 65 years ago. It was horseplay to be fair, but I never got my f****n autograph. Jack I've met shooting and fishing. My mate used to guide him on the shore and gave him accommodation. He used to drink in the same pub as me when shooting and had the same defective prostate as me. So he was often in the next urinal. Jack asked me how long it took me to become a good speycaster ( a difficult form of casting to learn) and he laughed when I replied ' as long as it to

All politicians and football managers say they are happy where they are and are not thinking of moving. But privately they all want the top job. Stiff if you google 'Howe England' there are several sports journalists claiming Howe has been sounded out about the job. These sports hacks are often on the nail. That's their job. CP, the England job is a poisoned chalice, the tabloids will rip any manager to pieces as soon as there's a bad result. However sometimes along comes a manager that's tailor made for the job. Howe is that man. He's big enough to take the heat. The FA have

Apparently Howe has been sounded out already for the England job. I suggested him as a possible England manager a few seasons back, but a certain Londoner/ Irish immigrant wrote that I was writing bollocks. I almost always do, but on that occasion I was on the mark. I think he will lead England in the not too distant future. Kneel to me Wilf. If not now, then when he's given the job. Lol
