  1. I don't like the bloke. But these accusations are being taken as undeniable "evidence". There's some evil men out there, but, equally there are some evil women, who know that these days, a well publicised complaint can lead to the end of a man's career. We used to dismiss the idea of trial by media, now it's an everyday occurrence. We also used to say a man's private life, however sordid, has nothing to do with his job. The correct way to make a complaint is a police station, not a newspaper or a television programme.
  2. She took it for what it was mate, a fleeting gesture of understanding that we werent blaming her for poor service as other punters were. Her face changed from one of stress to a smile. Just to prove we were on her side, my Mrs put money in the jar by the till. However, I understand that people have a right to dignity at work and she would have been with her rights to complain that I had invaded her space, whatever my motive. Thats what prompted my initial post.
  3. A definite yes from me. I don't buy the tourist argument. France has more tourists than any other European country and they cut off the heads of their monarchy.
  4. He's always had a look of Charles Manson about him for me. I think he seems himself as some sort of Messiah, he cultivates that crazed eyes look. So that proves it. Guilty as sin.
  5. I've got an open mind about an establishment stitch up. To me the stuff he has been saying about government corruption and greed is pretty much out there. We all know this. If the establishment had wanted to get rid of him, an ideal opportunity was when he and Johnathon Ross, a creep of the highest order, left messages live on BBC air, saying that Brand " had shagged Andrew Sachs' (Manuel from Fawlty Towers) granddaughter". For me that was a new low in so-called comedy. If the pair of them had been 'cancelled' in the same way that harmless Benny Hill was removed from our screens, the country w
  6. Its how I operate. Abuse in plain sight....undercover assault, can't beat it.
  7. Yep, I get that. Does it matter I'm a decaying coffin dodger just being a friendly old fella? Probably not, society's changed. A while back me and the Mrs were walking in a park. A toddler tripped over on the tarmac and was upset. I went to pick the kid up and my Mrs said "no I will". Tbh sometimes I feel like the paedophiles and sexual assaulters are winning because a simple act of kindess is being misinterpreted. But as I have said everybody has to learn and change with the times.
  8. Went round to see him and picked out out two gigantic pups for you, the merle is a bitch and the lilac a dog. That way you'll be able to knock a few pups out next year. I had to put £200.00 down as a deposit for you. I'm messaging you my address mate so you can pay me back. Get a few bags of Dr John's bought in and an agricultural shit shovel.
  9. I only got a quick grope, but boobs left a little to be desired.
  10. There's a bloke in Scotland just "accidentally" bred his dog with his sisters dog. So he has eighteen ( yes eighteen) pups to sell. He's moaning in the press about not being able to shift them now. My heart bleeds for him.
  11. And we haven't started fighting yet. Stick around.
  12. You could be right mate.I don't know what to believe any more. Yesterday I was in a cafe and the waitress was run off her feet. I asked for the bill and it didn't arrive. So I went to pay at the till. The waitress came running over and apologised for having forgotten the bill. I put my arm around her shoulder as we both headed for the till and said" don't worry about it love, I can see you're stressed out". So did I patronise her by calling her " love", did I sexually assault her by placing my arm around her shoulder? F**k knows.
  13. That is a brilliant comparison mate. Sums it up for me. Sighthounds are born to course, sheepdogs ro herd sheep and XLs to be aggressive.
  14. Yes but for every rogue licensed gun owner there are many complete numpty XL owners. 10 deaths in two years. No comparison to licensed guns.
  15. That's who I feel sorry for people who live near them or have to pass them on a regular basis. It must be f****n scary, especially if you are walking dogs yourself. There must be lots of kids banned from playing outside because of these dogs. That's awful.
  16. Yes I get that mate, but for many the excuse is "it got out" or "it's never bitten before" and believe that will get them off the hook. Reminds me of the old saying " a dog never bites till it bites". Dogs can surprise you at any time throughout their lives. Good behaviour in the past is never a guarantee of good behaviour in the future. Lots of people don't get that. Just as an example, I live in sheep country and always bollock my dogs if they even look at sheep. I had a 6 year old whippet which I considered bombproof with sheep. Then one day it rioted among sheep. I was flabberga
  17. Defective. 10 deaths in last two years.
  18. That's right. If an XL escapes from its pen and harms people it's the same principle as leaving a gun cabinet unlocked for a burglar, an irresponsible family member or a child to get hold of. It's no use saying to the judge it "wasn't me that did the damage me lord". An owner of an XL, or any potentially aggressive dog is in the same position as a careless gun owner. Legally responsible at all times.
  19. These XL owners are deluded. The tabloids are willing to point out the danger of these dogs and then when push comes to shove, they print sob stories about harmless, loving Fido being prised from the loving arms of its caring owners. Its only a "shitshow" if the media whip up sympathy for sweet, affectionate Fido and fire neanderthals up. Personally if some mastiffs and XL crosses are seized then hard luck. There's always individual losers when it comes to the greater good. I would advocate that its up to owners to prove a dog IS Not an XL and not the police having to prove a partic
  20. And Fury's kid brother, who boxes with the same ability as his father, coining in megabucks. Beam me up Scotty.
  21. Maybe I'm being cynical, but he could have bought the Dr title from the Internet. Anybody can assume the title Dr. I also doubt very much whether he was a boxer in America. Lots of his claims don't add up. But lots of writers are fantasists. Nobel prize winner Hemingway made lots of claims which don't bear scrutiny. Not that I'm suggesting the two had similar abilities as writers lol Talking about Walter Mittys, I've also fancied buying a a dog collar from ebay and seeing how people react. I fancy going into supermarket, paying for stuff and saying " bless you my child". Just for fun. If
  22. Agree, he did often talk down to his readers. I can remember feeling uneasy about some of his opinions which came from his social class and not mine. I can remember one article in which he spoke down about people who had tattoes. He stated he would never employ anybody with a tattoo. And that was for a kennel assistant..a shit shoveller. I don't have any tattoes but people can do what they want and shouldn't be denied a job because of someone's bias.
  23. One of my brothers fired a home made bow and arrow made out of bamboo at me. I can remember my other brothers shouting "no" and a bamboo arrow hit me straight in the eye. One of those moments where everything stood still. f**k me it was painful. I had a red eye for a week but no major damage. My poor old mother was run ragged with us, so we told her I had been stung by a bee.lol
