    Wolf hunt..

    Mr Attenborough is a legend
  3. Not to worry then mate, feck posting them
  4. It's never that simple haha. I'd guess that you'll have to get the flue lined etc, which is what bumps the price up. Just a thought here .............. but I'm more than happy if anyone wants to do a deal where they swap hardwood logs or rounds for dog gear have you got a decent sized trailer?
  5. How much does your usual supplier charge? Whole rabbits? Skinned and gutted?
  6. Most course are a bit too dangerous to run the fast type dog you need on them. Some of my ground is turf like massive putting greens and my dog puts a few away but not loads. Most of our land is really flat even when its bare soil and rabbits cant half shift on it.
  7. I'm in the middle of buying my own place at the mo and thinking of sticking a log burner in, what will I have to do? Just get the chimney checked for blockages and cleaned or does it need a flue installing or summat? We burn loads of trees on the bonfire at work so i'll be sorted for wood of all varieties.
  8. When I had my hushpower the best cartridges I used in it were Fiocchi 3" 7.5 shot which I shot allsorts with and some old paper ones that someone gave me. The standard 410 catridges that shops sell like express and gamebore rattle like marraca's and are all different weights.
  9. I would try and get stuff off mine as quick as I could if he ate it coz continuing working on a full stomach isnt good for them.
  10. I got a similar problem with mine Moll and I've been trying to stop him for 4 years. He knows when I'm even thinking of going lamping or if my mate phones me about going he starts off whineing and will do it in the car till we get there no matter how much I shout at him and threaten to kick his arse (it really winds me up) and its just one of them things I'm slowly learning to live with. Is it the bull in them?
  11. Cheers, he's not fit yet but getting there.
  12. I got asked to help a lad shift some rabbits last saturday so I went up there after work with Scooby, 2 older jills and this years hob kit. I don't think i've set as many purse nets as we did on this embankment in years since getting stop nets and longnets but it was nice to be ferreting like I used to. Some of these holes went really deep and the young hob kit didn't quite know what to make of them, he was travelling the burrow but not going deep yet but hopefully that will come. A couple of times I doubted the dogs mark until I put in my little sandy jill bred from my tiny white hob and Ivan
  13. The only thing i'd worry about them eating is rats that could possibly have eaten poison mate.
  14. Like I said originally I do like borders, mine was my first dog and he would try his paw at anything and was a really easy dog to live with its just unfortunate for the breed they became so popular with the pet and show owners which bumped the price up ridiculously. This also meant that their sensibility and working temperament isn't what they get bred for in the majority of cases just rosettes and pounds.
  15. No you prick I'm the type who only has 2 dogs and has them for life, doesn't breed pups, never have probably never will especially not for cash.
  16. Mine were on rabbit tonight as they worked bloody hard today for the ten we got and deserved it, rabbit pretty much every day now until I start knocking the odd pheasant off
  17. Ex????? You want your head feeling mate i'd never have let her out the bedroom you lucky b*****d :notworthy:
  18. None of them pats or lakeys jib then eh??? The biggest problem borders have had in recent years has been their popularity and the greedy feckers selling them for stupid money. I love borders as a breed but got forced out of keeping them because of the price and the fact that they get bred to feck for cash not work. ya full of shit mate.if you want hte dog you will pay the money for them.the last border i bought was £400 and off k.c stuff and still a good grafter so get ya money out ya tight pocket and get 1 bought instead of saying im not paying that for 1.cos i know i would. I'm f

  20. Unless you bolted it straight to brick you'd be able to get a bar behind it through any plaster/cement. If someone is hell bent on nicking your guns they will get them however you secure your cabinet.
  21. Never mind Gawhatisfacey who is the bird in your avatar???
