  1. A lad round here got a proper one like the stamp on a carcase, 100% British Lamb, it is his surname though
  2. Weld a piece of pipe onto the exhaust that's already on it so you can run a hose off it.
  3. You'd lose half yer leg in that mate have you not seen the vid of her strumming it?
  4. Hmmm. I think that says rather a lot about you. And not in a good way. The words selfish, self centred and irresponsible spring to mind. No decent dog man worth his salt would contemplate lining an elderly bitch of unknown age ("she must be 8 at least") to produce a first litter. You had to try her three times and everything went "fine....ish".....??? Pratt. Oh....and if you use the 'old chestnut' that I'm a woman again, you'll make yourself look even more of a twerp than you already are. Go away and learn how to look after dogs properly before you spout such drivel.
  5. I'd use a springer hoping they would be too big to get to ground, bushing dogs are no good disappearing underground when your out.
  6. This time of year brambles and holes keep the dog tidy.
  7. Gutted for you mate, hope you get sorted with some birds in time for the season.
  8. On one of my permissions ive dug a couple of hedgehogs, I grabbed one thinking it was a bunny and feck me I nearly shat me pants.
  9. My mate got a tenner one off ebay and it worked a treat, it had a few levels and a warning beep at the first bark. When he tried to get a new battery for it he couldn't find one anywhere
  10. I was in there one time and he'd not long had a break in, they had come through the wall down the alley way I think. Time to up the security.
  11. I know what you mean mate yeah, linnet mules are the same. I need to get a few more mule cages sorted for this summer so I can put them all out. Fingers crossed I'll be breeding some of my own this year too.
  12. It all depends on the dog, looking at pics of other whippets won't help as there is a difference in build between the show, racing and working types. If you have greatly increased her exercise and she was fine weight wise before then she will definitely need more food now.
  13. Do them greenie mules sing finch mate? Are they any good at it?
  14. Ive got 2 goldie mules doing nowt and a linnet mule singing a tiny bit but there in an unheated shed, they will when the days get longer and it warms up a bit. My linnet sings a lot but not full song yet.
  15. I wish mine had turned out bigger and faster but unfortunately you can't stretch them. He's quick off the mark but on our massive snooker table like fields he can get left for dust sometimes.
  16. If you get them from a decent sized processing place they will be freshly done that day so no green stuff etc. I chuck em to mine whole as one of the benefits of a raw diet is cleaner teeth from chewing their grub which you wont get if you mince them.
  17. FAO Lab On my old phone you could pick the person you wanted to send the message too then add recipient and stick the same name in 15 times so every time you press send it went 15 times, me and a mate had a lad from works text alert going off solid for hours and there was nothing the poor tw@ could do about it, if you turn it off they'll come through when you switch it on
  18. I dunno if they sell them but try these http://food.zibb.co.uk/profile/country+style+chicken+ltd/gb/clwyd/wrexham/ll11+3rd/23755901 I found the place near me by googling poultry processors so just done the same for wrexham and this looked promising.
  19. If you end up with any spare young hens this year I'll have some off ya
  20. Seems to throw a nice pup whatever bitch is used that big dog and good feet too. Cracking looking pups lads..
  21. I would mate, turkey and all the trimmings it was awful in my dogs pen on boxing day :0 . I just caught a rabbit and missed a cracking shot on a fox, came round the hedge scanned the big rough ploughed field and stood trying to work out if it was a squat hare or a rock (slipped the dog on one by accident here last time, luckily his teeth stayed put) and then the b*****d was up and running. Twice I've seen that one now, hopefully I'll find him in the day instead.
