    I saw something recently about ferrets on some Scottish island that were introduced donkeys years ago to control rabbits. Imo they would be a better cross than a wild polecat, untainted working ability but still reasonably domesticated.

    I think I put this on in the winter but these are on a little paddock at work right next to some houses. One flew into my rollers yesterday and they didn't like it.

    There was one of the bigger ones knocking about with a little egret a few years back around here but I've never seen one before or since. We get plenty of little ones though.

    She's had a few rats and a couple of brushes and a rag on a carcase, you shouldn't really use age as a guide you'll know when your own dog is ready. This one would probably have tackled anything at 7 months but would probably have come unstuck if she had done.
