    Cats

I posted about a year ago about the old man that lives next door being over run with rats well it's gone full circle now and he is over run with cats I've counted at least twelve and there is more kittens I can hear crying in the hedge at night they roam all over and I can't walk my dogs off the lead within half a mile without bumping in to one I was wondering what the law is on the number of cats you can keep anyone have a idea
  2. Welcome mate what sort of field sports you into?
  3. Newbury is Berkshire it ain't far from me I've done a fair bit there daytime and on the lamp it's hit round there and hard to get permission but I've always found it to hold plenty of game
  4. Had a bulldog called chopper and my pup now is called bear that's the hardest sounding names I've ever give a dog
  5. Good picture nice to see everyone's happy well almost everyone
  6. Just take it in turns like you did before you run one then him then you and he can alternate his dogs that way you still run the same amount of game as before
  7. Nice dogs and I'm probably being thick here but from what to what? I don't get it
  8. I'm pretty sure socks isn't saying put pictures up of dogs tearing fox and deer to pieces I think he is saying it is legal to flush hares with lurchers so it is legal to post a picture of a lurcher flushing a hare and we have all got to paranoid about posting anything
  9. I completely agree its gone to far with people being scared to post anything it's a hunting site and if it is legal why not post some pictures within the site owners guidelines of course
  10. It would make more sense wouldn't it and I wonder if anyone looks throu these adds for a pet lurcher?
  11. Doesnt look like the boxer had much influence on the dog also was the dam or sire a first x boxer whippet?
  12. 5 month is to early at around 7 month I'd take the pup and just let it watch I think it brings them on abit but I wouldn't run her till about 10 month and then only doubled up till she seems ready might be wrong but that's just my opinion
  13. I'd say your wrong there as well. It's not that wolves are lacking in bravery, but as a wild animal they have a healthy self preservation instinct, as a wounded wolf which cannot hunt will starve to death. The thread below shows Serbian pit bulls and Turkish kangals being eaten by wolves. These are European wolves, so a bit smaller that the North American timber wolf, but still plenty big enough. WARNING GRAPHIC PHOTOShttp://carnivoraforum.com/topic/10039802/1/ That said, they are quite happy to fight to the death for territory or breeding rights amongst their own kind. You know the leadi

  15. This is what I say all the time about wolfs and big cats when people say they would just destroy a dog they aren't a brave animal they will give up the fight when it isn't going there way if that was a bull breed or one of those sheep protectors that would have took the fight to those wolfs the wolfs would have run
  16. Thanks for the reply mate sounds like some tough dogs tell me do you find these type are capable of taking pig regularly a lot of people over here seem to think a lurcher isn't capable of taking a pig
  17. Nice looking dog mate where was he imported from if you don't mind me asking
  18. I don't mind certain breeds with cropped ears but I should imagine it does expose the inner ear abit
  19. Why did she walk over and tell you that?
  20. That's a shame mate hope you get the dog back
