    My dad had a staff x gsd when he was about 15 didn't work it but he said it was the best guard he ever seen and it stopped a few pure bulls and mastiffs only by accident of course this was back in the 50s

    Agree with ya mate something funny about this fella keep trying to put these dogs down I think they done a good job that a lot of dogs wouldn't even take on and they shouldn't be put down for that

    To many regulations as it is everything being pigeon holed I don't think they should start documenting working dogs and deciding who can have them

    If you only breed lurcher to lurcher after awhile they will slow down as the base breeds level out if you know what I mean so you need to add long dog blood to keep the speed up not the best wording but the only way I could think to word it are u talking from experience? Yes mate I had a 3rd generation Wheaton greyhound bull greyhound to slow for almost any game my nephew had the brother he was bait faster but still not enough speed also had a 4th generation bull greyhound whippet I could have run faster

You can't keep using lurcher to lurcher without the infusion of pure running dog blood so if the lad can get a decent retired bitch that ran injury free with good times then he is on the right road ......Agree with you there mate you need to add speed sometimes

    I see that but I didn't know they helped develop the jagd I admire what they were trying to achieve as far as the hunting and I think the primeval forest would have been a great experiment if it had continued

    I know they was trying to bring back some extinct animals to hunt but I didn't know they developed the jagd terrier I'm interested in genetics and what the nazi were doing as far as the hunting side of things
