Got to love silage!!!

Ok , Lets look at it another way , there a quite a few "dog men" who stick to dogs because they can't get a shotgun or firearms certificate. If you are into fox control , and you only used dogs you wouldn't be as successful as you would if you shot , dug and snared them . I've got terriers but don't consider myself a dog man , I've got a rifle but don't consider myself a rifle shot , I set snares but don't consider myself a trapper . They all have a place , and as long as they have a result I'm happy. I've got to say though I get a lot of enjoyment from the digging , and watching a young dog c

If you think about it logically, you have an animal the size of a Puma , think about what it eats , think about the amount of protein it needs to maintain condition? Anyone with a large dog knows how much grub you need to give them . In my opinion if there were big cats out there we would be seeing them a lot more and we would be losing a lot of livestock to them . I've had people I know say that they have seen big cats one even showed me some footage on her phone ,.... it was just a moggie , because when I made the screen bigger you could see a red collar. I think it all stems from perception

Most packs are Brocken to cats , they even keep them in the kennels by me (bad for PR) if they keep killing them . But you would have thought one might have broken cover and been spotted, maybe they are all up in the trees? But there are so many out at night with NV or lamping , I can't believe we haven't got one down yet . I makes me think they aren't out there. On the nv etc debate . I've read about that, drones, lampers etc but how many people actually own NV,thermal , drones in comparison to the size of the UK . If all these gadgets had been around for 50 years widespread and we were like no

I think it's about time we stopped paying our TV license, and stop buying Papers . They are the government controlled propaganda machine . Their lack of accurate reporting on this peaceful event which was attended by 10, 000 plus compared to the "anti facisism rally " which had a few hundred was totally disproportionate, one sided , and misguideing .

I believe there was a Sikh speaker and there were black guys there , but you won't see that on the mainstream media , they only want to portray them as yobs . From what I hear it was well behaved and dignified. Not racist or extreme right wing . Don't know if it will do any good , but fair play . Shame on the London evening standard and the rest of the rags for not accurately reporting on it ."Football lads" does sound crap thosome guy on facebook organised it , "Lads" from different teams put aside their differences for the day and stood shoulder to shoulder for what they think is right . I blame the BBC for a lot of this country's problems , actively promoting homosexuality, mixed race marriages , black newsreaders, Soap story lines that normalise weird behaviour. Every time Anyone dares question the state of this country (Nigel Farage for example) he is demonised and made to look like a jackbooted Nazi . We should all stop paying our TV Licenses. F@ck em . same with the govnt of the day its the old pals brigade .most ex public school boys , .who all piss in the same bucket/////while playing with each other's dicks !

I agree the ban had nothing to do with fox welfare, anyone who has had anything to do with a mounted pack will know it's not about fox control, it's all to do with "the chase ". In my opinion it had everything to do with giving the toffs a bloody nose from the unions , and also that ugly bitch Cherie Blair pulling strings .

Police like you to start off with a 17hmr , because they don't ricochet like a 22 . Something worth remembering especially in this dry weather with rock hard ground. A mate got hold of some 22lr tracers, we shot some off at night. It was scary, I mean they go all over the place . If any of you 22 boys get hold of any try it , it will make you think a bit about what is behind and off to the side of your target . I hate .22LR for that very reason. My friend once took a shot he shouldn't have - I was down range and out of sight albeit he knew I'd gone ahead and so shouldn't have been shooting.

Terrierwork Observ Possibilities In New Forest
shovel leaner replied to Gilliers's topic in General Talk
Hello to you in Finland , we have had a bit of a laugh at your expense, and taken the piss (mocked) your use of English which I have to say is much better than my Finish . Unfortunately friend , you will find that because of the laws that have been imposed upon us by our week mainly left wing government, we do not enjoy our chosen field sports as openly as we would like . Sadly there are people out there who mean us harm and try to infiltrate our ranks with the intention of damaging field sports . I would love to say "come on over , I'll take you out and show you what I do ". But the reality i -
We should have stormed parliment and wrecked the place, all theyve done in the last 20 years is shit on us british A few did , remember Otis Ferry?
-
I only remember not seeing any because I had my family with me and wanted to keep them away from any nonsense. Didn't see any trouble on the Two main Marches , just a friendly united atmosphere. Things did turn ugly in parliament square but that was the police.
-
you must have seen the only ones . As I remember it the unwashed were nowhere to be seen . I just remember one , she looked like a "mad cat lady " with a banner showing the usual guff (ripped up foxes ) , and she was just treated to a bit of friendly piss taking. Things were a bit different when we went to parliament square in 2004 ....ghat was a bad do .

One word .....scum

I was there on them all . The atmosphere was special, my wife me and our 2 year old went on a coach paid for by the guns on our shoot . When we had to go up or down steps with the pushchair everyone helped and passed her up and down hand to hand . Made you feel proud to be British.

Good points.I however give it credit beyond 75 yards. U. yes you might drop them at that range or even beyond . But if you are taking long shots with a 22lr at foxes you will be having some run off to die a lingering death . I have done it myself , I've been out with only my rimfire , and seen a fox I was after . The temptation is to take that shot . I know the rifle well and know my capabilities. I once put 3 slugs into a fox at about 90 yards and it still made the hedge . Picked it up a few days later when it started to stink and it had made it a fair way before it dropped. I felt reall

I don't think it's even as convincing as that, the other big problem with cats of all species are they are a bit slutty and cross breed with anything feline, you only have to look at the plight of Scottish wildcats almost diluted to extinction and the big cat species are no different, I,ve seen a video somewhere of a domestic house cat shagging a lynx in captivity, I don't know if anything came of the mating but the old Tom was certainly giving it his best shotYou must remember to delete your search history, I don't know what sights you've been visiting, but they must be a real niche, whatever
