    You need to get yourself a good method and practise practise practise. It's taken me years to be able to sharpen a knife free hand. You can feel it when your sharpening correctly. Angle guides are always good and really the whole sharpening thing is dependent on the knife you have and what you will be using it for.

    Picked up a pup for a friend at the weekend, he is very pleased. I've know the dames breeding from a long way back and the sire has a pedigree of champions. If this pup doesn't catch you gear, you looking in the wrong place! Hope it finds a sensible home.

    It says "missing" and then mentioned last seen in an area about 11pm. Sounded like they got out, nothing mentioned about locking them away or being stolen. I maybe wrong. But I'm not.

    Good dogs are born, great dogs are made. I've seen a far few good dogs made into crap dogs because of the man behind them. Same as I've seen dogs that people have deemed useless and better men have turned them around and made decent dogs of them. Maybe that's why there are so many litters because people are always chasing the the ultimate hound and not making the best out of what they have. And really if you need to hope and pray to get a good dog, maybe you should take up golf .

    you cant get something out of a dog that nature didnt allready put there though if a dogs not got enough pace you cant do anything to its legs to make it run faster if its no wind you cant inflate its lungs more if its no heart you cant whisper in its ear to be more courageous and so on but a good owner will get the best out of whats there and know when to quit flogging a dead horse as well But why would you get a shite dog in the first place . And I am still right

    Not being disrespectful, but speak for yourself. Not everyone is in your boat, my dogs are trained as good as any are and have been. thats fair enough mate my other thought had been about collies, with there trainability..... yes they can be trained to do exceptional things but... the majority are'nt as owners do not have the time to do extraordinary training... sit, stay, jump through hoop etc all easy to train. im not saying it would be impossible, but for the average bloke who works, has family etc where does the time come from? in what way are yours trained if they are as good a
