  1. Why would you feed Carp on Trout pellet? Why not feed them coarse fish pellet. Skrettings do both .
  2. how many jobs have you tried? Started my life as a toolmaker (6 years), then went where the money was in the City of London as a shop fitter (3 years). Had enough and started my own landscape gardening firm (4 years). Had 18 month off, went traveling Asia. Came back did a cuntryside management course. Also gained my tree surgery tickets, aerial rescue, dismantling, felling etc. Then became a council resident caretaker! for 7 years. Now I own and manage a fishery for the last 11 years . Still do the odd bit of tree work, along with some plumbing, ground work, a fair bit of carpentry,
  3. how many people see an otter ????? ? hey ? not many ! in rural parts of the country if an animal doesnt want to be seen , how many people acually see's it ? my point exactly! I've seen Otters on a couple of occasions and I have friends that have many good pictures of them. Don't know of any body that has really seen a big cat, let alone got a picture of one. Your point is?
  4. You boys ain't got much imagination. Even the jobs you wanted sounded a bit boring. With the exception of Rakey I wouldn't of minded being a airline pilot or maybe have a fleet of big game boats in the Caribbean. Vet sounds a sensible option. But I would have liked to have got into property developing, because the boys I know that did in the 80's are laughing.
  5. He just Googled "using your cock for feeding yourself."
  6. My Bull X has the best nose out and brain out of my five dogs, for bushing and marking stuff.
  7. And that's my final offer yc.
  8. Always check on your friends misses while they're out lamping.
  9. I have a Rivers West Jacket, Ranger I think. Had it two seasons so far and all good. Had a zip broke once sent away Monday and back before the weekend. They have a ten year waterproof guarantee! Are as tough as, you can force yourself through brambles etc with no damage. Put up with a fair bit of barb wire too, I've not managed to rip mine. With the sweat thing, mine has a zip front and under arm zips/vents, so not much of a problem for me. Also I'm not that sweaty!
  10. Drill !/2" holes in the stump, as deep as the drill goes around ground level, fill them up with Copper sulphate, Round up or similar. Job done.
  11. 1000's of Bull X's. And some are good and some are shite. Ideally you want it to work like a Terrier with the speed of a Greyhound.
  12. That aint subtle, example or not.
  13. Nice one wazza. Be careful with your dogs feet. See you've been taking photographic lessons from Paulus.
  14. I've got a dog that is on his way out (11 year old Mastiff X, tumor up nasal passage). Dog's fine and healthy apart from the above, but last night he seemed restless and uncomfortable, which is understandable. This is my sign the dog has got to go, be put to sleep . Now my son is on holiday until Monday and would love to see the dog before he dies, but I don't want the dog to suffer or be in pain so I have administered Aspirin as a pain killer/anti inflamitary. I have found this and thought it may be useful, so here you are http://www.school-for-champions.com/animalhealth/aspirin.htm
  15. I keep my eyes peeled mate. Saluki or X ?
  16. Not less intelligent, just less common sense .
  17. I'd go get your bits off your butcher, it's not as if you need lots. Or shop around more butchers to see if you can get some bits for free.
  18. where do you get yours from? From some strange looking fecker .in a disused car park, off the A12 Essex and that's true. So do a fair few on here.
  19. How many dogs you got? See if you could get a better price on regular decent amounts. Sounds good for human grade stuff, although he probably pays to get rid of it normally. I would say your paying for his time and effort and no more.
  20. 60lb of minced chicken frames, necks, etc £12.
