  1. Got a bag of shotgun shot rabbits here if anyone wants them, West Kent area. All frozen, some have guts in. Oh and they're free.
  2. Sounds like all of your trout have been taken by people fishing with worms . Trout take a long time to grow to eating size and when they get munched, hey presto, they're gone. Maybe you'd be better off catching your family some trout from a renewable source. IF you do get into some trout then put the odd one back then there maybe some left to fight another day. Good luck mate .
  3. Depends on what you want. Personally I know what my dogs are capable of. Rabbits around these parts are pests and good food so the more are caught the better. Also you'll never catch everything. So no northernlight, that's not alright I understand the less injurys bit but that is the only benefit I can see.
  4. Looking for the above cross or similar. Will need to see dog work or will need to have a reputable references. Must be smallish, good coat and most important must work all bush dwelling game. I have to my disposal, great Terriers and great Spaniels, but no crosses. If I can't find a suitable stud I will look to one of these. Southeast preferably but willing to travel. Bred for friends and my own use. Shouldn't think there will be any left, but obviously the stud owner will be entitled to their pick. My bitch is a Springer Lakeland x and has two seasons under her belt. Cheers.
  5. Not that expensive? with a life time guarantee. I got a collar here ready for it's third dog, that to me is cheap .
  6. Can you tell me what is the benefit to running just one dog?
  7. Nice fish, well done. You do realize a Cats Whisker is not a real fly
  8. I don't actually think it's going to piss. I think it's gonna lower it's balls in her mouth.................... or is that just me?
  9. What ever they are, at least they are doing a worth while job. Didn't here you say any thing about the low life scummy divs they are dealing with. I'd have the main of them PTS, the fcuking idiots.
  10. Good to see a blured picture of puppies. Busy busy busy I would wish you luck with your pup, but the amount of rabbits you have, it won't need it.
  11. Pouch by your ear and pow! What you really need to use is The Force.
  12. Chicken mince must be served as soon as it thaws. A warm house may make it ferment nicely . Should've offered it to the dogs, I bet they wouldn't of turned there noses up.
  13. Young bitches, getting some length, suits you sir.
  14. Mute yes, just wait for the cover to erupt My bitch only yips when in close proximity, which suits me. Lurchers know where to be.
  15. Been using cold water for the last 12 years. Needless to say I've had a beard for the last 12 winters.
  16. I'd give one a go. Got a Lakeland Springer first cross here and it's turned out very useful. I would like to find such a cross or similar to put to her.
  17. Why not? If you get them broken to ferrets. Only problem is the lack of coat, shivering dogs on a cold day winds me up .
  18. Do a lot of it and your dogs will bark. A good way to wind your dogs up. My friend had a Border that would whine at the sight of the catapult, when it saw a Squirrel it would freak. Proper drawing attention to him and what he was doing. I have a dog that will climb trees to get at them and it has fallen out a couple of times .
  19. With mates like that who needs enemy's? Would of been fun around here .
  20. My Bull x retrieves from water and will bite someone if needed, which can be very useful in the right situation. She will also help round up sheep, which saves me a lot of leg work. As a Lurcher, she is defo an all rounder and at seven years old she is looking for a replacement. An all rounder to me is a dog that does every thing you need it to.
  21. Get some large toothed hacksaw blades, 10 tpi or there abouts. Or a tenon saw.
