Get well mate, I wish to tell you how much better my Mali is compared with those spacky GSD. Here's thinking of you.
  2. Add some thing to make it more easily absorbed like already said, derv, creasote, white spirit etc.
  3. They also try and educate idiots in how to look after their dogs. Seems like a worth while job in my eyes, mostly women as well. They have less conflict than blokes.
  4. I used to have an Angora buck as a kid, a real spiteful fecker. It used to chase and terrify my Aunts Poodle. I thought it was hilarious and would let the rabbit out and shut the back door and watch it for a few minuites
  5. he was nearly 5 1/2 when it happend Then I see no problem breeding from this dog. Good luck with your pups.
  6. I think at the age of seven you will need to keep her on top of her game to help avoid stiffness. Suppliments are good but I think there are no substitude for a good mixed well ballanced diet (plenty of fish if you can get it). I have a seven year old bitch here that's a bit battered, she's out every day chasing/catching gear and if she has a real good session lamping or what ever she will be stiff. I'm affraid it's the age .
  7. I think you'll find the man put "by Paul Dawson (1976)"
  8. Guts out, got to be. I can't believe the amount of game I see in peoples back yards that still have there guts in. How you getting on with the knife sharpening Jigsaw?
  9. Don't think there are such things as true dual purpose birds any more and to be honest I don't see the point. Get some egg layers and some meat birds.
  10. well at least he's using his loaf.
  11. Are you gonna go smash some windows or is it monkey nuts over the park?
  12. They never will mate, it's down to you to let them know. G em up , throw a stone. They will never see what you can, it's height ting.
  13. Do they use them for man work/Schutzhund and are/will the tail's be docked? I still think a good suited Lurcher would work similar terrain, as good if not better. Saying that I would give a good one a try, I like them a lot. At the moment I am using a Mali in my pack to good effect. If a decent Airdale would of been available when I was looking for a new dog, I would of certainly taken a look. Good luck, I will be watching with interest.
  14. Good man Jamie, great offer. I'd of kept you company and given you some squirt money. But I'm out and at em first light.
  15. "Get ere you fcuking cnut" "That fcuking dog!" "Sort that dog out" The best phrase to here is "Yes, got it!"
  16. What a shame, I'd still bang it though. I'd get her doing some nastiness.
  17. My sign says "when this gate is closed dogs are loose" Your front garden is a public place unless inaccessible.
  18. Let them dry as slow as possible. My last forks were left a year or so, these were Oak and Hazel. I would say dry some as per previous posts and cut some extra to leave in a dry shed or spare room, for next year.
