  1. Mine was an Angora X Feral goat so I was told. He weighed 80+ kg in his prime. Dangerous fecker in his day. Took him on as a rescue at 3 years old and he had very little human contact. I've got a loads of now funny stories about that goat.
  2. What was the boy doing with a moped? What would someone want to stab a boy for? Drugs probably. Edited to say, it was at the end of my friends road.
  3. interesting to see the horns getting knocked off.
  4. Cheers Jiggy, just what I needed. I'll just let the dogs out to clean up.
  5. Cheers geeze. Just looked a thread put up by Jigsaw, looks interesting.
  6. This world is full of let downs, saps, wasters, poopsy boi's, melts or what ever you wanna call them. I've heard every excuse from so called men about their reasons for jacking. It's good to have a bit of company whilst out hunting, but if you wait for others, you'll never go out. I say get out and do your own thing.
  7. Had to put my old 18 year Goat down last year. I have had the head stored, now I would like to clean and mount it. Problem is now, any flesh, meat etc is very dry and hard. Also the brain is still in there, the only thing I did was skin it. My question is, what is the best way to go about cleaning it, bearing in mind the horns are more than 4' across, so putting it in a saucepan is out of the question. Any suggestions?
  8. This was the first attempt at recreating the Gafaelgi (Welsh Mastiff) He was a working Roti dog X Presa x Pit bitch. He is down in my dogs hall of fame, fantastic dog and tested fully! In fact he tested 2 good decoys fitness. Don't think they are still going? The original breeder stopped because of the amount of idiot "ard men" that contacted him and he wasn't happy to be part of that world
  9. Are you talking about Foxes to ground? Because above ground a Spaniel will find and flush anywhere and the original question from Mud was "anyone use Springers to flush Fox to the gun" or am I wrong? I often am.
  10. My old Bull x used to put other more suitable breeds to shame. I would've put a wager on her nose and for that reason trusted her 100% £257,000 worth of drugs ? probably bred by a druggy. Go on the Staffy!!
  11. I use plastic timber from time to time and it's very expensive.
  12. 20, 30, 40 or more runs a night, 2 or 3 nights a week puts a fair bit of strain on the dogs joints, especially if you've got a heavy mutt.
  13. Well done Phil, looks like your gonna need a bigger airgun ?

Got a friend that travels from London/Essex/Kent to Wigan every week, if that's any good to ya?
  15. I can only speak for my bitch, but her nose is good and her desire to find game is as you could imagine. Watching her track scent is a great thing to see, sadly there is not enough open ground around me, so my chance to see it is limited. My bitch looked bit short in the back in my pics, so I've found another. It'll probably be the last, as pictures ain't my ting ?
  16. Gamekeeper John is a victim of his own success and personally he will not see a penny of my money again. A rude ignorant man he is. Sorry to moan on your thread Flynndog, I wish I could be more help to ya.
