    Id agree with Roybo to be honest, I found myself in a position last season particularly that my little beddy x was outmatched by stuff that was getting up. So I decided to buy in and my requirements were pretty much as described by bullmastiff. All the runs we get round here are quite short so it had to be an up and at em type.     Some belting looking animals there welcome. Those irish terrier blooded dogs sound more than handy, im a big fan of terrier blood in lurchers their attitude really suits me.

    Its not that long ago a conversation popped up on my newsfeed on facebook a group of young farmer lads were discussing dog attacks on sheep they own and friends of friends etc. They were exchanging stories of how they dispatched the various dogs involved with rifles at various ranges. Needless to say the tone these lads were using laughing about it really really wound me up. Stock killers are a no go for me as with most sensible lads but these pricks laughing about shooting dogs showed the mentality of SOME farmers.

    Shes definitely got the best ive seen on a lurcher.....like a good earthdog coat

    Shes got a sound temperament can throw her in the back of my motor with my black terrier and my bullx pup no mither. Ive had her around loads of my mates dogs regular and livestock no problem. Her coats smooth a bit thicker than most pure whippets I went intentionally for a smooth cus ive always felt a linty open coat offers little protection from the elements. Northernlights bitch has got great coat on her.

    Ive got a 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy bitch 20", shes brave and a little more robust than the straight whippets ive seen. Shes got pace to burn really. Her main forte is in and around cover/hedges because she can follow bunnies through gaps and kills no end of them this way and puts up plenty that are hiding in the rough stuff for the big dogs.
