  1. Cheers will get in contact with them 2.8 guy.
  2. Hes more than aware what theyre used for hes a farmer and has kept some very handy terriers too. Itd be expected to keep watch on his livery yard and mainly to knock about with him.
  3. Think that on pets4homes is a kelpie type?
  4. Will have a look around on the web see whats about I said itd probably be expensive because there quite rare so breeders would charge a premium. Would be nice to get one out of dogs that do a bit of work
  5. Cheers if you could point us in the right direction itd be appreciated. My father inlaw knows a fair few farmers whove got collies and the odd kelpie but hes always wanted an ACD so hopefully we can get one sorted for him.
  6. Hes after a pure ACD pup mate, was hoping someone on here could help.
  7. Alright lads, Was hoping someone on here could help out with this, my father inlaw wants an Australian Cattledog pup. Hes not into the internet so i said id try on here for him. He owns a livery yard/stud and a farm so plenty of land and lots of excersize etc. Cheers, Moorside
  8. Jesus youth ive known afghans with a better grasp of the English language than you.
  9. Not a bad looker among all of these. Fair play boys good topic
  10. You think thats bad......I came home one day to be greeted by my black dog wearing a fooking pink dog hoodie. Its scarred me for life
  11. Its only ever cost me money.....and in all honesty its worth every penny. Definitely a better way of wasting money than hanging around a bunch of wankers round the golf club.
  12. Think that Rillington strain came from that way, they were originally earthdogs. I know a lad who genuinely uses beddys for earthwork these he keeps have fell blood in the mix. I asked him if hed ever used his digging dogs on a whippet or greyhound and he said there too small for use in producing lurchers. Which I thinks a real shame cus most pure beddys that are used are either massive bushing dogs only or kc stuff
  13. Ive had 2 (aledgedly) down from his stuff,, one was a real looker and the other a right runty little bugger. The looker wasnt much cop when it came down to it but the little un is a reasonable terrier. Was told over the summer that GM has given up the terriers now.....would be interested to know if anyone can confirm this?.
  14. When there ready there ready cant fault you....
  15. I dont think its all about frustration yips come from excitement too. Id rather have a dog that gets revved up and wants to knock over whats infront of it over a "brainy" type that picks its own runs and pulls up on hedges etc.
  16. Ive got a triple box here that id part with, im in Midlands
  17. Ive discussed this before with a few lads and some have said its the fact that whippets have terrier blood already....then you add bedlington terrier which makes them more likely to 'open up'. This is mainly because they assume that all terriers yap all the time. The bedlington earthdog is/was a hard type which would rather mix it with em rather than bay....so that counts that out.....or does it? How many beddy xs are bred out of earthdogs? Virtually none id say.
  18. Wether hes a decent bloke or not theres absolutely no way id be having another pup off him. At the end of the day hes a puppy peddler.
  19. True and its the same with beddy xs too folk queue up on here to slate them.....and then you get the bullx lovers and loathers. Obviously its all opinions but I hope I dont let myself shut the door on any type because I think its a mistake theres room for them all imo.
  20. To say the high drive types are basically for mindless thrill seekers is incorrect. And slating all beddys, salukis, or collie types is pointless why shut yourself off to them completely ? Obviously if youre happy with what youve got and they suit the land you run then fair enough, but just because a type perhaps doesn't suit you doesn't mean there all toss.
  21. Look nice types pal, hopefully someone on here will be able to help. Atb
  22. Just looked the leather one is exactly the same, the webbing one seems a different type
