  3. out of interest what was your zero range..? good group that.. I think from the bipod you would be fine shooting to 50 yards mate, if conditions were good enough that is. great shooting, keep it up mate SKoT
  4. BOOM! bet that motherfu*ker hits like a rocket launcher nice shot daz mate
  5. nice one mate keep going don't stop now! bet it feels good to be shooting again doesn't it.. I had a 2-3 year break and that was too long lol. now its overtaken fishing as my main hobby. just love been out with the gun
  6. PCP's are very easy to shoot accurately compared to springers. I had an s200 it was a very nice rifle.. but for me, shooting a springer well is so rewarding when it does the job. and its just as accurate as the pcp.. but hard to master.!
  7. so how many people are going then... doesn't seem like many.. not much hype on this thread.. I say the more the merrier!
  8. i only use airguns so only got airgun insurance.. but if you plan on getting proper big guns lol then might aswell just get full membership straight away. Adam, does it auto-renew?? looked on my card in my wallet and it expires end of Aug so was wondering if i need to go online and sort it or give them a ring. i presumed it would just auto renew and they just take the money out of the same account i paid on in the first place and they just send out a new card..? or does it just expire?? thanks mate, SKoT
  9. you have a blued action now, and want to get it nickel plated..? not sure about that mate, you might just have to buy a new gun
  10. Ayup mate and welcome , plenty of good lads on here who know there stuff, you've come to the right place
  11. i prefer the wood thumbhole stock best, follow by the wood sporter 97 stock then lastly the synthetic. if my wood sporter had adj. buttpad i might like that better.. think my next gun will be a 77k - laminate summer forest
  12. Ayup laads just wondered...anyone use these? what type are best? better than routing through your pockets and pulling some pocket fluff out instead of a pellet?? don't want to carry a big clinky pellet tin around the hft course.. and I suppose it may be beneficial when out hunting..? any advice lads? cheers in advance SKoT
  13. if it was before april 1987 I wasn't even born... 26 years without missing .. that's some good shooting!!
  14. some good shooting there mac, your getting better !! nice shot on the crow and bunny, and pigeon aswell and we all miss every now and again as for them pellets in the target.. dig them out and use them again , they don't look too damaged
  15. did you get it posted mate..? did you get it delivered to your house or a local gunshop? if you don't mind me asking
  16. all 3 of my guns are about the same accuracy wise, if im on good form 97 and 95 .177 and a .22 97 aswell.. but I can definitely shoot the kt97 best followed but the 97 sporter and then the 95 sporter I think the weight is the main factor, that 95 flys all over the place cant keep it still LOL the secondary factor is probably the thumbhole and the adj. buttplate so the gun just sits better and more customed to my body shape if you know what I mean..? if your not comfy your not going to be shooting as good are you!! but its still pellet on pellet at 35 yards like the other 2. I just
  17. trigger reassembly doesn't look too complicated or fiddily on the weihrauch owners forum theres a post on there and with out watching a vid it sounded like a nightmare!! but so did stripping a gun down and that's a breeze.....
  18. Very kind of you mate thanks for offering going to keep it as it is at the min with the vmach kit in its pretty nice and smooth. But if i do want it fettling il let you know Had a good plink even in a strong gusty wind but it started bouncing down so didnt get chance to chrono. Hopefully il get out tomoro aswel
  19. Bloody hell chris all i did on mine was a quick 2 mins with wirewool on the piston.. and its pretty nice to shoot.. No wonder yours is like a pcp after youve done all that stuff!! I was happy enough with my rifle until i read this.. but now i realise its nowhere near its maximum potential! A shadow of the rifle it could be. One quick question.. how fiddly is it to strip and reassemble a rekord trigger?? Been wanting to do mine but dont quite have the guts incase i cant get it back together.. and how/where do you grease it when your finished.. ?? Cheers SKoT
  20. Go on lad Been trying to mount a scope on my 97 for about an hour cant seem to get it quite right...its been on sideways for ages LOL Out to chrono and zero tomoro and theres been a pigeon kickin about in farm shed for last few days that needs sorting
