That group of 5 shots on the diamond was with the Jsb exact or Ftt . I shot them first then ran out so changed to the Li's begore heading home (obviously re zeroing first) The Lis didnt group quite as well. Still good enough tho! Need to try air arms fields next and got a tin of accupel aswel, although some say they are the same pellet as the Li's ?Seems whatever pellet i put in this gun it will group under a 5p @ 30 yds. Even rws hobby!

New Project In The Post! Hw97K :):)

The red bit of the safety always sticks out a little bit, then when you cock the rifle the safety automatically engages, (slides to the left), so the big bit comes out and the little red bit goes in. and if the anti bear trap is fitted then you cannot de cock the rifle. however if you remove the anti bear trap you CAN de cock the rifle, but some say its dangerous. -
Cheers mate really enjoyed it this morning listening to the woodpecker pecking. songbirds singing and seeing the fox run away when I took the first shot at the pigeon. He got a free meal out of it, left them where I saw him Don't mind Foxes being about my permission, no fookin' rabbits about anyways

Now then Lads! I haven't wrote up a hunting story on here for a while, mainly because I haven't been much lately and the one time I did get out, last weekend, I only got one Squirrel. Not really going to win hunting story of the year award so I didn't bother writing it up, also I forgot to get a pic. Today was the day! The day for a good plink with no ice cold, hand numbing and pellet deflecting wind. A quick brew to bring me round from my groggy morning state and I grabbed all the supplies for a decent session, chucked the rifle in its bag, pulled on my willies and set off on my way.

Hello and welcome Try stick with the best pellets you can afford. As Moxy has rightly said AA and jsb will be a good starting point. The last 5-6 rifles I have owned shot them all very accurately

New Pcp Break In Procedure?
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to murph81's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
if its fac in the first place you don't really need to worry about it going over the limit then lol. but yeah a chrono is handy tool to have so you can check the consistency of the rifles power every so often -

More Rubbish Publicity!!!

”It is against the law to be in possession of an air rifle in a public place and thankfully no one was hurt. not quite... when im in a public place with my air rifle (in its bag, unloaded, on the way to my permission) im not braking the law. if 'they' want to start quoting facts like this then they should at least get them right. e.g. "it is against the law to be in possession of a loaded air rifle in a public place" they do your head in! thers 'gun crime' in my local paper every other week! 'dangerous firearms' being seized.. more like a little Chinese springer and an air -
Just measured the 97 in the same way and its abourlt 3.5 cm so 'fatter' than the 95. I heard the uses a screw in trigger block like the 97/77 so im guessing the will be 3.5cm like the 77/97 More 'beefy' so the 95 stock should be too tight.. Depending how much wood you have spare either side you might get it to fit? The 97 feels a lot fatter in general compared to the 98 tho

havent taken the action out of the stock. where your trigger hand thumb goes when shooting the rifle 'thumb up' the 'back' or the 'end' of the action where the safety catch is as if your looking from butt down towards barrel the action is 3cm edge to edge. in line with the stock. I used a ruler rested horizontal against the stock. cant be bothered to take it out of the stock just to wrap a tape measure around it lol sorry hope this helps?

hey Gaz how does the sr pro feel on the blue lam 97..? get a pic on

i use a right handed sporter just fine and I shoot left handed! I think you might be confused with the air arms tx200??..... they do a left and right handed version.. and they are not very user friendly if you use them the wrong way round.. the cheekpiece comes over creating a sharp edge.. unlike the hw97 sporter stock that is safe to use either way. I didn't know they did the option of a left handed sporter at an extra cost, I thought that was air arms only.? but yeah I use a right handed sporter 97 just fine shooting left handed
