  1. This shows the drop my .22 hw100kt has from the 3 shot 28 yard zero and a 3 shot wobbily group at 47 yards, with jsb exact 15.89gr 5.52 mm flying at 11.4 ftlbs . the groups could be a lot tighter but there was a breeze and I was wobbling as I hadn't adjusted the bipod properly and was straining my neck. it worked out at roughly 2 mildots holdover on my sr pro sidewinder at 10x magnification.
  2. My plans are, went shooting last night with the hw100kt and only got 1 opportunity at a woody , smacked it clean in the head and when I went to pick it up it flew off, hit the fence then flew off again and I couldn't find it after that it was horrible there was blood pissing out of its head so god only knows how horribly it suffered! made me feel sick and I packed the rifle up and headed home . not impressed at all. but im going out at the weekend with my hw97k .22 to get ready and zeroed in for the hft next weekend . don't know if il be shooting anything live for a while that pigeon l
  3. Probably did pump it too fast. my brother (gymLAD) seen me pumping mine up and said come on I could do that in 10 seconds. but I like to take my time. pull up. hold for a second or too. push down. hold for a second or 2. rinse and repeat. you will see if you watch the needle it will fly up and then after a second or 2 drop back down slightly. if your pumping too fast you lose more air/pressure than you think and when the riffle cools down you will notice a difference
  4. When i had the panoram on mine from a 28 yard zero on 10x i think it was about 3/4 mildot holdover at 34 yds . Not sure now with the sidewinder. Got my near and far chrono readings just need to check my scope height and then put it all into chairgun. For my hw100kt .22 with sidewinder and my hw97k .22 with panorama.
  5. Don't count too much on someone else's calibration. your muzzle velocities may be slightly different and can make more of a difference than you would think. same with different mounts to make scope height slightly different etc. all the slight differences can add up .. use it as a rough guide but check your own gun on paper aswel to clarify.
  6. Pictures are the best bit about this forum Apart from the helpful (mostly) members .. and the good banter
  7. So does Nitesite + .177 PCP = Call of duty ??? Lol
  8. I had a panoram on mine for ages and it was great. Now i have a sidewinder on and its even better!
  9. With my hw98 and mamba lite set up properly to my eye i put 5 shots under a 5p at 50 yards .. something i never did before. Lovely little scope
  10. How do you find the general feel of the .177 with the mamba lite.? Like eye-scope alignment and cheek position on the cheekpiece? Hows the balance? Does it feel 'right' ?? Also you should put a pic of your rifles up
  11. If you set your zero (.22) at the height of the trajectory then I rekon you will run out of midots somewhere around 70 yards lol fair enough shouldn't be hunting that far really but you know. I use 28 for .22 and 34 for .177 ,Yards. only because this is convenient where I sit to zero there are trees at these ranges lol. need to have a proper play with chairgun and input all the correct data and see what my trajectories are like with my different rifle and pellet combos.
  12. Nice one, the hw100 is a cracking rifle and you'll have to put some pictures up. WE WANT PICTURES!! WE WANT PICTURES !! I get 92 from my hw100kt .22
  13. +1 for sidewinder Or try the mamba , or mamba lite these also have side focus
  14. I use jsb exact in my hw100kt in 5.52mm second choice in the accuracy test I did were the AA fields. Li's and accupells were mediocre and so were superdomes Bisley magnum were ok but I mainly use them for chronoing. Super FIELD looked like a shotgun had hit the target ( and same in my hw97, I might have a dodgy tin??) anyways JSB exacts and AA fields are a good staring place in any rifle IMO power of each pellet will be slightly different but all will do the job from a 10-11.9 ftlb muzzle velocity rifle out to 60 yards as long as you can place the pellet in the right spot
  15. I would like a .177 to go with my ..22 What a crackin pair that would be
  16. amazing in either calibre. I chose .22 as its a hunting (mainly) set up so wanted to go for the larger calibre to get more kinetic energy and knock down power onto the intended targets...(not that .177 cant be used for hunting, it deffo can) and shooting paper/metal targets with a pcp is boring and too easy imo. that's what springers are for would love a .177 to go with it lol
  17. I let the gunshop send mine off. should have rang them myself lol. felt like I had lost an arm being without my hw100kt for 3 weeks!
  18. Mine took about 2 weeks to come back from getting turned down. 10 ftlb is enough easily to kill cleanly out to 50-60 yards as long as you can hit the kill zone.
  19. Did look like a pet rabbit cross wildy bit light colored and the eye did look different normally there brown. Im going off my girly .177's now .22 all the way
  20. Good shooting mac .. but you should give that raider a few weeks off and take your NINETY SEVEN !!!!
  21. Wasnt looking at the pressure but i think it was 60 bar when it started dropping off on the chrono results. Ine prefers the jsb exacts over aa fields but not much difference at 40 yds only a few mm bigger groups
