    Nice jumper My farm is saturated aswel and my wellies have split letting water in so i always get trench foot Need to buy some more. Think my hw100 is due a trip out soon its just been 97 97 97 97 97 97 over the last few weeks with all the fettling and testing!!     I didnt use one in mine mate. Theres is very little room between the spring and inside the piston in my rifle. The bit of ptfe i have is way too thick to get in there. So just left it out It still gives a slight twang tho but its very dull and quiet

    My old AAs410k was perfect back in my younger days when my hw97k seemed pretty heavy , but now I think it would be too light for me. the 100kt is just about perfect aswel now . the balance for standing shots is pretty amazing!!! makes it hard to miss!. I like a heavier rifle these days I had a hw95k few months back and really didn't get on with it because it was too light for me. the hw97 77 and 98 I have now are a lot better due to the extra weight! so for me a heavier rifle is better even tho I have scrawny noodle arms and im very unfit, but I can still hunt and lamp with th

    I got my kt and love it to bits. but if I would have tried the T I would have probably gone for that. the kt is shorter and lighter than I thought it would be. don't listen to the pussies on here the KT Is NOT HEAVY neither is the hw80 or tx200 or hw97 etc. I carry them around hours on end hunting and I have noodle arms!!!!!!!

    Lol . Dont know about the gunlaws in n.ireland.. might need license first? If so thats a pain i the arse. If not get a gun and ask farmers if you can shoot on their land, or join a shooting club.

    Well the rws superfields are very consistent over chrono but looks like a shotgun has hit the target at 34 yards. With both my hw97 & hw100 :/ Not bothered about anything other than accuracy and keeping under the limit. They are the two main factors for me

    Its my wellies that are cold i wear 2 pairs of normal spots socks and then a pair of thermals over them! And gloves when plinking with a springer?? Bit hard to load it lol and i never got on with them with finger and thumb cut out.

    this is something I would seriously never have given a thought! with my hw97k/hawke sport hd combo I just leave it on 9x its not the best scope in the world but seem to do the job

    If you use hawke chairgun pro software it tells you your best zero range, judging by power/velocity, pellet weight and BC and scope height! very goodto use. but as a general rule of thumb somewhere between 25-30 yards with .22 and 30-35 with .177 will be great.

    Fair enough.if you like the traditional look of a gun- sleek lines on the stock , nice bit of wood and some shiney blued metal then that's great. buy a prosport but if it shoots straight then to me its a tool for a job! and its job will be plinking and hunting.. so a dull camo finish will be best suited to it... Not my rifle I'm going to be making a bollok of with b&q eggshell and complaining down the line. Hmmn!! Grinding action!?? Wait until you fill it full of changing rooms swarf.
