  1. nice shooting again mate.. bloody hell. shooting the edges of pennys, and barbed wire fences... thats quite amazing like they say, practice makes perfect
  2. must admit its quite an ugly gun. IMO lol i hate seing open sights on guns .. dont like the trigger guard either.. However, peformance is the main factor and im sure it shoots brilliant.
  3. oops i know.. i have a lot of bad habits.. this is just one of them.. i put this up to welcome peoples criticism and also to listen to good tiips they may have for me. no offence mate not trying to sound funny thanks for the comments
  4. it was a bit but it should settle down after another couple hundred shots. either that or the qualified gunsmith from brighouse has used too much greese..? id have done it myself but didnt want to mess it up hence why i trusted a gunsmith to do it..
  5. Eyup guys ... here's a rather boring 9 minute video of me shooting my hw97kt synthetic .177 with AGS 3-9x40 at 35 yards doing a 10 shot grouping using jsb exact 4.52mm ..... live for the camera of my s2 mobile lol my excuses are.. it was upto 10mph inconsistent wind - i havent shot for 3 weeks so im out of practice - im not the best shot either lol - the rifle has just been serviced re lubed etc and the barrel cleaned so it is still re leading and the grease is still being worked in so it isnt settled down yet - the pellet might not be the best suited to this rifles barrel - i could kee
  6. im not bothered about the weight to be honest at the min i have a 97 and its nice and heavy just how i like them.. can always fit a sling anyway if it gets 'too heavy' my mate had a 77 and but hes never had a 95 .. i was thinking but the 95 just kinda jumped out at me, looks really nice might get down to gunshops and see if they have any in for me to have a hold/shoot of
  7. Eyup guys, I fancy a break barrel and was thinking about a hw95k.. anybodys views on this rifle would be much appreciated cheers
  8. im thinking ignore it and have another beer is the best idea
  9. well its kind-of sorted.. just put 102 pellets through it. obviously im out of practice after 3 weeks of no shooting.. and it was windy.. but excuses aside... i cleaned the barrel PROPERLY THIS TIME lol before i set off, grabbed my combro, targets and a fresh brand new tin of jsb's 4.52 so after 102 pellets im not right impressed to be honest. obviously the new grease etc will need to settle and the barrel will need re leading (after 102 pellets it should be tho?) , but it was allover the place still.. and the chrono results were even worswe than before with loads coming out aat 5f
  10. quick update guys. just got my 97 back from aaron wheeler gunsmiths in brighouse. for a small fee they have serviced it, cleaned and regreased it all up for me . nothing needed replacing so thats good going to put my scope on and see how she feels .. il keep you updated haha p.s its hard going 3 weeks without a gun, ive been ripping my hair out!! lol .especially when the farmer cut his field like 2 weeks ago and there must have been close to 100 crows rooting around every night!! oh and andyfr1968 sorry i didnt bring it to you, no hard feelings i hope? and thank you very much

  16. well it certainly is something a bit different
  17. F***ing tossers, they dont actually realize how dangerous air rifles can be.
  18. aye there proper 'biggin themselves up' love how the guy hits the centre of the bull everytime after nearly ripping the trigger out of the stock when he slams the second stage beyond its release point hahahaaa
  19. your probably better off with a rifle. unless its VERY VERY close range and you practice a hell of a lot and get very consistent and accurate at shooting it
  20. aye its not too bad for a chopped up lump of wood!!
  21. Nice vidoe mate. loved it when the rat ran into the wall haha ive seen squirrels rob bird feeders but not actual rats just proves they are rats with bushy tails lol
  22. Cracking day out lads doesnt get much better than that. That woody when you could see almost all the flight of the pellet was good. and the rat that definately wasnt expecting a lead sarnie haha also i like davys stock on his tx.. sounds the si's 97 is a bit quieter tho? All the best lads
