in my small wood ive bloody wiped all the squirrels out so theres hardly any left for me to shoot lol suppose thats a good thing tho still plenty of crows for me to target and few woodys aswell. heard but not seen a jay a few times, still never shot one of them. anyway that looks like a cracking bit of land mate, many great hours will be spent there with you and your beautifull rifle eh?!

dont fret? well i was a bit. but a few reassuring comments on here have settled me down i will definately be trying at least 3 more pellets before i get worried again, also im going to let it bed in aswell. then IF its still inconsistent and no other pellets are accurate either il look into getting it sorted. actually thinking of asking the gunshops if they would trade both my 97k .22 and 97kt .177 for an air arms s410 then il keep my 95k .177 as a back up.. friggin love that little beauty thanks

Listen to zini then aye, always do.. hes a top guy knows his stuff. just hope pianoman gets on better with his new 97kt when he gets it. sure he will like

well heres a 75 shot string hw97kt .177 with Gaystate Rangemaster Li 7.9 gr unwashed unweighed rifle from new has had about 400 pellets through. still bedding in but id have thought it would still be more consistent than this. groupings at 35yards have closed up a bit tighter to about 2 inches still not good enough tho. this is with me concentrating hard, my 95k hits 5p sized groups very nicely at the same range.. got jsb exact 4.52s to try after i pull the barrel through, hopefully they will give better results. one thing i did notice is the Li's are pretty inconsistent in my barrel s

New baby on order. No bottle feed!
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to pianoman's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
well just been testing the 97kt .177 with daystate lis 7.9gr at 35 yards it was grouping about 2 inch :/ and i was being as consistent as i could with my hold position and really concentrating, also hardly any wind.. my 95k at this range is twice as accurate 5p every shot if i do my bit. anyways 75 shot string with unwashed unweighed unlubed Lis after total 400 pellets fired from brand new. 40fps variation.! going to test with jsb exact next time i can get out to the permission, cant shoot in the house or garden. hoping for much better results. -

New baby on order. No bottle feed!
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to pianoman's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Well i dont think its me holding or folowing through wrong to be honest it wasnt windy either. after only 400 pellets i expect it to be a bit inconsistent but it was stil putting out decent groups. they were just shifting around all over the target. i was going to chrono it but friggin batteries went dead on combro so just spent 8 friggin quid on new ones. then i took the 95 out later the same day and it was bang on. But surely the scope should hold its zero even when the 97 is still bedding in...i can understand larger more spread out groupings but they should be in the same place surel -
hw97, hw95
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to robwelsh's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
When i pick up my 97kt it feels more comfortable in the shoulder but the 95k in standard sporter stock delivers amazing results even tho it doesnt feel as 'right' in the shoulder. both amazing rifles if i could have only one i would probably keep the 95!!! Thats a bold statement isnt it!
