Poor standard on display there. At least parker looked like he wanted to have a fight and landed some good shots at times just limited ability I thought. I did some prairie dog control a few years ago the had colonised some land adjoining a well known zoo by burrowing beneath a fence and crossing a busy road. Ferreting was as Phil said emotional ? and ended up with some badly bitten ferrets. Shot some but they are tough little b@stards like big squirrels and as I could only use air rifles on that land I was undergunned and had a few get away injured. So I caught them in cage traps in the end which was quite straightforward and I should have done it in the first place. B@stards to get out of the trap so had to tip them into a paper sack. You can

I agree with juke you will lose the fish if the weather gets too cold unless they have enough depth and volume of water to escape the frost. Otherwise they will be fine. If it does get below freezing and you are worried x Bournemouth rhea you could just net them our and bring them out of the frost into a contsiner in the shed temporarily

Absolutely. That's why I said what the picture shows for me. But we also need to be aware that different standards are applied in different circumstances. We don't question pictures from Africa because we have absolutely proof already. But that I divides photo might still be wrong. Lacking absolute proof in the uk we have to be careful not to make statements ofor absolute certainty

Greyman if somebody came back from safari and said they had taken that photo people would say what a great picture . But because it was taken in England there will always be questions. For me it shows a cat for sure and I see a leopard but maybe that's because I want to see one? Even a 100% definite picture will bring doubters or accusations of fakery.

The big Siberian lynx can get quite heavy but I think reports of them getting past pounds are probably exaggerated. There are 5 lynx at whips Nade zoo which weight varies seasonally between 15 and 18 kg. I just texted my mate who works there who gave me that info. Either way it doesn't really matter and not something I would argue about.and I don't suppose it's important whether they are capable of killing people the fact is that they don't. But if I was a sheep I would be a bit worried
