  2. and when do you elt him in your trailer?
  3. not instilling confidence.. LOL thats funny
  4. france certainly displayed both skill and physicality, but it will be interesting to see how their mental game has changed. i suspect that if they suffer another loss or two then they will revert to being an ill disciplined rabble again i think we are in for a lot of tight interesting games, could be one of the best championships for years
  5. dont want to jinx anything, but great to see a decent scottish team, good for the championship. well played. hogg looks class act england missed their back row vunipola/haskell/robshaw. notice the difference when haskell came on and itoje went to lock? would still like to see slade in the side somewhere. daly looked quite sharp, but i am also a fan of nowell best french display i have seen for 5 or 6 years i think, and one of the poorest by england for at least a year, but even so they dogged it out for the win, and that is the mark of a GREAT team in the making. 4 first choice forwards m
  6. no it wont. hughie will get beaten up
  7. saw them a few times over the years, great creative band, thanks for years of happy memories lads!!
  8. How the feck can you rebuild a squad without new blood? There are Welsh players setting standards that far exceed anything that the selected players can offer at the moment. What was the point in including 7 new players to the squad if you are not going to give them a chance. I know if I had just spent the last two weeks giving my all, only for someone I am keeping out of my club team to get selected in front of me, I would be pretty pi$$ed off. TC you are right, of course. perhaps i should have said wales are SUPPOSED TO BE rebuilding! i'm not sure i have ever really been convinced
  9. Looking at the team selected today, we have no chance. Another belt and bracer's job by Howler There are three Scarlet's players in there that cannot get in to the scarlet's team, yet alone Wales. He is picking on reputation and not going with the form players. Foxy, Sanjay and Cawdor have all been dropped lately from the Scarlets because of their lack of form. Yet walk in to the Welsh team? J Roberts on the bench and Ashley Beck the in form centre in Wales at the moment cannot even get in the squad? Yet another 6 nations of Warren ball. TC havent seen the wales team yet i shall
  10. wales are rebuilding and look vulnerable, italy are slowly improving and will run some teams close but i dont expect any great heroics although on a good day they could trouble scotland france or even wales scotland are improving but still short of quality in depth, they might throw a surprise or two though; france looked a little better n the autumn but they are stil a disgrace, when you consider their teams of 15-20 years ago; ireland are a decent oufit now and did great in the autumn; england ooze class but have injury issues plus i think still lack experience in important positions,
  11. great news that both dogsare back. how did the bitch get home? was she picked up by rescue, or did someone make a call?
  12. i use around £600 of kerosene a year to heat this cottage, hour on in morning and again at night. had to run it a bit more the last few weeks though! my last cottage had a woodbuner downstairs, bit too big for the siting room really but heated the whole house f you left the doors open, was getting free timber in those days too
  13. loads of accidents in 3rd world zoos, obviously health and safety is not such an issue out there, but the victims ae always either mental, drunk or taking liberties, rarely down to escapes etc loads of stuff on youtube
  14. my dad worked in the RAC club when he was about 15, still has his access pass to certain roads in the west end for the coronation
  15. I just looked at them oilskin hats MG they do look spot on for keeping the rain.but do they cope ok with strong wind. Only use it if its pissing hard mate, but they do have 2 small lugs with holes fashioned into them in case you want to attach a leather thong as a chinstrap. Not a very good photo I'm afraid. sydney oilskin.jpg Yea I can see the little lug things.I think I might buy 1 mate. i have one very similar, good hats to own and if you get the size right they stand a fair wind without flying off. dont keep them anywhere too warm though as they can shrink a bit
  16. Billy Fish: He wants to know if you are gods. Peachy Carnehan: Not gods - Englishmen. The next best thing.
  17. Peachy Carnehan: They're savages here, one and all. Leave 'em to go back to slaughterin' babes, and playin' stickball with each other's heads, and pissin' on their neighbors.
  18. A quote here from "The man who would be king" which is appropriate I think Peachy Carnehan: They're savages here, one and all. Leave 'em to go back to slaughterin' babes, and playin' stickball with each other's heads, and pissin' on their neighbors.
