Has it really been ignored by the press? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-36733346 http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/77-anniversary-sadiq-khan-vows-to-do-everything-possible-to-root-out-extremism-a3289996.html https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/jul/07/7-july-london-bombings-commemorated-on-11th-anniversary http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-anniversary-idUKKCN0ZN1L0 A nice memorial service covered by the media with statements put out by party leaders and other political figures is about what I'd expect for the 11th anniversary of a terrorist attack. Actually it's been proven home schooled kids are ahead socially too. Interacting with people your own age 90% of the time's not natural, speak to a home-schooled kid,no matter their age they'll talk to you like a peer, not an 'adult'. Fair play, as I've not got kids myself it's not something I've done a lot of research into just going on gut instinct. Personally I'd worry that their social group is too "managed" in a 100% homeschool setting, if they're only meeting other homeschooled kids they're not getting a very broad social experience. Of course depending on your views that could

One of my sisters does the "un-schooling" thing to a degree and honestly I dimissed it as a load of hippy shite at first but after learning a bit about it and seeing the results in her wee girls it's hard to argue with it... I do think the social aspect of school is very important and not something kids should miss out on though. Her girls go to clubs and have groups of other homeschooled/un-schooled kids they meet up with but it's not the same as school really. Flexi-schooling where they still get that socialisation a few days a week with the benefits of a more tailored home/un-schooling

All that needs to be said about Blair I reckon http://www.snappytv.com/tc/2307751/1167877 He should be left in a room alone with the families
-
Come on lads let's see a bit of that grefi gwahanol tonight
-
Totally agree with pretty much all of that, I couldn't fecking believe the front of the man when I saw Blair said he'd do it all again! You have to remember Corbyn was one of the most vocal opponents to the war both in and outside of Parliament so it wasn't really his feck up to apologise for, still the right thing to do as leader of the party that started it though. The response to Chilcot would be a lot different if he wasn't leader, that was one of the big reasons behind the attempted coup last week He's also been one of the strongest allies to families of killed and wounded soldiers
-
You mean like the one he made after meeting with the families? The one I linked to earlier in this thread and the Chilcot thread? One like that? You went off half-cocked over a poor quote from the BBC, nothing to be ashamed of its a very emotive subject but you should admit you were misinformed and got it wrong. Can't say I disagree with the rest of your post.

Sorry to hear about your cousin pal, it's fecking disgraceful the lack of support we give lads when they come home after fighting for us
-
So either he or the BBC paraphrased his original statement, what's the issue? I'd say the official statement and apology he made after meeting with the families of fallen and injured soldiers who he's been supporting and campaigning for for the last decade carries more weight than a soundbite on the news, wouldn't you? I mean I can see why you'd be angry when you thought he didn't apologise to the soliders and their families but now you know you were mistaken and he did I'd say an apology is in order

http://news.sky.com/story/1722567/corbyn-issues-iraq-war-apology-from-labour What on earth are you talking about? He did apologise to the soliders that were killed or injured and their families....
-
From what I know he made his own mustard gas. He was a complete cnut but he kept the peace, same with Gadaffi etc After that horrific bomb in Baghdad the other day, I read interviews with locals, many of whom said they wished they could bring Saddam back ! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36706265 Honestly the mess we left that country in
