  1. Theresa May to win I reckon?
  2. Blair and his cronies drove many away from the party parachuting in Oxbridge educated elites to the Labour strongholds in the North people that were only interested in their careers and ignored their constituencies. I was one of them, spent a few years voting Labour as the least worst option before Blair drove me away from the party for good. Corbyn and McDonnell are some of the last Old Labour MPs hanging on and them being in power is the only reason I and many others have come back to the party. Now we just need to deselect the Blairites and get real local candidates that will champion the
  3. They're not that bad, you should watch one and then make up your mind. See if you can manage it without falling asleep McDonnell is a much engaging public speaker though IMO. I'd prefer him as leader if I'm honest, Corbyn isn't perfect but if you want a return to real Labour values he's the last hope. I will give it a go lol.Always remember the speeches Scargill gave us when we were on strike now that man could rally and stir emotions from the podium despite what anybody thought of him. Aye love him or hate him the man could rally the troops, great public speaker Even Thatcher admitt

If you think Jeremy Corbyn is the last hope for Labour to return to their core values then it confirms two things a. labour is finished forever b. you dont have a clue what labours real values is/should be. Sounds like you could educate me. What are real Labour values to you the

  6. He gave a speech to big bussiness leaders at the British Chamber of Commerce back in March and met with loads of big and small business owners up and down the country during the referendum campaign He went to 20 cities didn't he? The cities are miles from me and are nothing like the valleys in any way. He should've been touring the villages because that's where the real problems lie imo. No disagreement from me there pal, the villages and forgotten towns in the old industrial areas are exactly where he should be going and I'd want to see a lot more of that during a GE campaign My area(B

  9. Definitely not ! It would be usurped as a second referendum. The £ and the markets have just about recovered, and the EU is coming to terms with our decision. The last thing anyone needs is more uncertainty...... Think I agree with this TBH, we need stability right now... It's a shame though because obviously Labour are in the perfect position to fight and win a GE campaign right now Joking aside, I would normally have said that the new PM should go to the country at the first opportunity, but I don't feel that the democratic process would be served by holding an election in the near fu

  12. I never said every miner in Durham voted Labour that woul be silly. All I said was was the Durham Miners Association supports Corbyn because well, they do. I voted Leave, does that mean I'm just pretending to be a Corbyn supporter? The referendum wasn't a party politcal issue pal... The leader of the Durham MA supports Corbyn, they have a meeting tonight, so not speaking for anybody but himself what I can gather. The statement put out was on behalf of the DMA not just the personal views of the General Secretary but you're right obviously the "Defend Corbyn" meeting will give us a be

  14. they can wrap it how they want, we know what he is,, along with being a traitor as is Gordon brownAgreed, and Corbyn and McDonnell are the only prominent figures that will push for them to actually face charges if at all applicable Sure it's probably a pipe dream but the thought of that grinning c**t Blair sweating in the dock is a nice one... There's a reason they were so desperate to get him gone at all costs before Chilcot drops What would happen with Bush, would he have to face war crime charges too? Or do they do it different over there? He'd have to be charged separately and not e

  16. When the Chilcot report comes out Tony Blair and Jack Straw will be denounced as war criminals in the HoC by the leader of their own party
  17. You work with max? No but I do work with a bloke who thinks AJ was blowing in round 3 against Brezeale and put up a poor performance in general. Oh no. Wait a minute. I don't. Nobody else has said that I used to think I'd never see anything more stupid than max's football analysis... Then he decided he was a boxing expert
  18. That's where deselection comes in These MPs that have tried to instigate a coup against the leader can expect to be deselected by their CLP at the next election and then their constituents can decide if they want them to carry on as an independant or elect the new Labour nominee. Although I wasn't aware of the technicalities of it all that is kind of the conclusion I had come to, you can't move forward effectively when the leader/members have one political ideology and the majority of your MPs have a separate conflicting one. For them to be effective in Parliament they have to all be

That's probably JC's plan ? Stand firm amd rely on grass roots support. Then, when and if he's re-elected, replace the PLP with a little army of Corbynistas ? Vive la revolution ! Well his original plan was to compromise with the Blairites and bring the party forward together but they kind of fecked that
  21. Gutted for you pal and after we were saying how you were lucky it was the wee terrier because she'd bounce right back. Hope she recovers fully now she's been put right

  23. You probably know more about this than me, but heres how I see it... He WAS democratically elected by grass roots members of his Party, that is beyond question. I think that what IS being questioned is the nature of that membership. There was large scale entrism by groups, including SWP, in line with Militant infiltration in the 80s. They grouped together, paid their 3 quid, and got their man elected. Now, they seem hell-bent on remaking the whole Party in his image, even if he will never be PM while his ar5e points south ! The likes of Dave Nellist and Derek Hatton tried it in the 80s
