Watched it on iplayer the other day, I didn't think it was too bad until the presenter started implying playing tug or using a springpole is a bad idea with bull breeds because it's teaching them how to kill and encouraging that sort of behaviour....

Pretty much sums up my thoughts on the subject

Shame he's got even less chance of becoming PM than Corbyn then eh

Who said it was the best argument anyone could come up with? The only argument needed is the fact he was democratically elected and still has the support of the membership and the unions. I put it up because earlier in the thread there was doubt cast on his ability to get support from hairy arsed miners so thought folk would be interest to see a statement put out by miners backing him. I totally agree that the Chilcot Report coming out is a big part of the reason they're pushing so hard to get him gone right now but if you think Corbyn is going anywhere any time soon I think you'll be di

No. Look again. It says, and I quote: "These people, many of whom are unheard of, cannot stand any form of democracy" CANNOT STAND ANY FORM OF DEMOCRACY That's what it says. So how exactly did they come to be democratically elected representatives of their constituents? Maybe they've changed their minds about democracy since Corbyn's election or maybe they can stand it when it goes their way, that's pretty obvious I would have thought. Shame on the Durham Miners Association for being slightly hyperbolic Are you trying to say the Blairites AREN'T being antidemocratic or are you just e

The article says they don't care about democracy only themselves, how does the fact they've been elected make that statement false? Of course they like democracy when it goes their way, the real test of a democrat is accepting democratic decisions when they don't go your way.

Laughable! "These people, many of whom are unheard of, cannot stand any form of democracy" They were elected by democratic means so how the feck can they not be able to stand any form of democracy? And as for: "many of whom are unheard of" That is a reflection on the writer's ignorance. I would imagine he / she would prefer all MPs to appear in Celebrity Big Brother of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here so they get better known Feckwit! Trying to depose a democratically elected leader and overturn the result of a democratic referendum, yep the Blairites love democracy! Prop

Tbh I don't think he'd be welcome here atm, an old lad I was talking to said "He cares about Syrians more than us" his words not mine. This was a really strong Labour area probably still is in a way but lots here are fed up of them, lots go on about the money off the EU for the new college and funding the Heads of the Valley road. But we shouldn't have to rely on the EU for that our government should pay for that. Our council tax is the highest for its band in Wales, £320 above national average, that's probably a local level problem but it's a Labour council so the disdain for them runs all th

Think his last visit to Wales was Maesteg in May. If you want him to come to your area get on to your CLP and tell them to invite him down

but The 6 million dollar question is does he have the backing of the people?. ...with a early General election on the cards we could see labour become the 3rd biggest party in the UK. Every major city has a Labour Mayor, Labour became the biggest party during the local elections and have increased their majority in every by-election since Corbyn became leader. I'd say it isn't looking too bad... And all of that with PLP and media trying to trip him at every turn, imagine what he could do with the party united behind him? So do you think he will still get the support from the estimated 6 m

Those are exactly the sort of places he goes to and this idea that he only speaks to students on university campuses is demonstrably false, the last speech I was at that he gave was in a run down old resort town and the audience was predominantly middle aged Old Labour supporters...

The Blairites need to stop acting like spoilt children and accept he's the democratically elected leader of the party and he's not going anywhere while he has the backing of the members and unions. If they don't like that they're welcome to leave the party or cross the floor and join the Tories.

I can't make my mind up if he's got balls or he's just plain lost the plot ... he seems to have London's unwashed behind him but I can't see him having the traditional labour support from the rest of the country he just doesn't seem identify with them imo ...so many politicians of late have made the mistake of believing the London bubble represents the whole country well britex has sure proved ignore the rest of the country at your peril. He's always touring the country giving speeches to packed venues, you just don't see it in the media. His support is in no way restricted to just London and

Julia Hartley-Brewer just called the England team a bunch of "overpaid nonces" on The Papers on BBC News Now that's a bit strong, I mean they're not SAFC!

Worth keeping him as leader for next few weeks just to see the reaction to Chilcot IMO I'm sure that has NOTHING to do with the sudden panic to get him gone ASAP either...
