  1. Great to see a rescue lurcher getting the chance to work, hate seeing them dragged round the park on leads by the fur mummy brigade Good on you pal
  2. How does Labour's immigration policy under Corbyn differ to the Tories or indeed UKIP? Which bits do you disagree with, what makes you think that their policy would result in the country being flooded with foreigners at any greater rate than any other party's? since when does a parties policies actually have an influence on what will happen? Are you telling you honestly think a labour govt under corbyn would let less immigrants in than say a ukip one under farage would? If policy doesn't matter how do you choose who to vote for? Gut instinct? Corbyn's personal views and beliefs a

  4. He isn't on his own he's got a core group of likeminded MPs and half a million members who have been working to elect the right people to the NEC to get the changes to the rules that he wants through. No denying it's a hard battle and one that we could well lose but feck it I've nothing else to do I totally agree with the rest of your post pal, real change can only come from the grassroots and that's what Corbyn and the whole movement behind him is all about, getting folk engaged not only at a local level but at a national level setting policy. We want to bring the Labour party back to th
  5. The right to vote, the NHS, child labour laws, workers rights, statutory sick pay, free schooling for all children, the minimum wage, the state pension, the 40 hour week etc etc All achieved when the workers mobilised and united with politicians. Things that are slowly being taken away be a succession of Tory and Red Tory governments. Corbyn represents the first real chance to change that in a long time and that's why the establishment are fighting to so hard to get rid of him.
  6. Way I see it you can either get stuck in and try to change things or you can stand on the sidelines moaning. I've always been more of a doer
  7. Even with the changes rushed through by the NEC making it harder I reckon he can win the leadership election. After that the PLP are going to have to fall in line or leave the party before they're deselcted. He was really close to Blair and a real scumbag by all accounts, hopefully he gets deselected before the next election
  8. I thought it was only the metropolitan elite that supported Corbyn? Surely they can afford £25.Seems this is an attempt to stop the working classes being able to vote in this election. Fecking shameful for a supposed labour movement to try and price out the working man Keep up, comrade !If you weren't a member in January of this year, you don't get a vote. The new members won't have any influence, one way or the other............ I'm talking about registered supporters, they have 48 hours to pay £25 if they want a vote in this election. Nothing to do with members new or old.Keep up Didn'
  9. Is this what we voted out for? So EU poles can come over here and impregnate our ferrets? Vote UKIP
  10. Trace those dogs back to the late 1800s and what were they called? Bull terriers or pit bull terriers. There's plenty of historical documents (newspaper ads, old game dog publications, personal records of breeders) dating from that time that called the dogs used for dog fighting bull terriers Why the name if there's no terrier blood?

  15. i liked Burham he was chatty but then he'd been drinking lol you'd be surprised how loose lipped they get when they're drunk , got told the Osbourne was a coke head . You could have a nice little side earner selling stories to the papers doesn't surprise about old Georgie boy, you only have to look at him
  16. Bet they tip well in case you recognise them and shame them on twitter Andy Burnham is a good lad, his work on the Hillsborough inquiry really changed my opinion of him.
  17. he was old probably a bit out of touch but I liked him seemed like an old school gentleman to me . He said how can Corbyn expect support from the party when in the past he voted against the whip ( I can't mind the exact amount but it was in the hundreds )Voting against the whip from the backbenches is entirely different to leaking stuff to the press, publicly attacking the leader of the party and orchestrating a coup, none of which Corbyn ever did. I'm sure he was a perfectly nice gent but he has a vested interest in seeing Corbyn go, he wants to abolish or reform the House of Lords. just

  20. How do you explain all the historical documents talking about crossing bulldogs and terriers for the fighting pits and the fact that they've been known as "bull & terriers" or some variation of the name for well over 100 years?
  21. I'm sure a Labour Lord (probably bought his peerage off Blair) is really in touch with the average Labour voter.... Oh and it's £25 to be a registered supporter in this election, not £3
  22. Honestly I'm really fecked off by this leadership challenge, I was looking forward to having a nice relaxing summer and now I'm going to be spending it campaigning for my pal Jezza
  23. Good on you for taking her on and trying to sort her out pal I'd say the advice in this thread so far is sound, small controlled portions of "senior" dry food and gentle exercise gradually building it up as she loses the weight. I really would stress being extra careful with the exercise you give her though no free running until she's dropped a fair bit of weight, fat dogs snap tendons really easy.
