    i took a hiding from a cow last year it put me in hospital. even having expirience in handling cattle under my belt you have Allways got to have your whits about you in thier company. when out with the dogs the best answer is to avoid cattle at all costs but as been said above move them on if you come into contact with them and the worst thing you can do is panic. stay calm and show authority over them

    not all dogs are the same , not all will want to play some would rather stay at your heel and stroll wheras other will be like coiled springs. just like people i suppose, some dont mind chasing and kicking a ball around the pitch for 90 mins others would rather stand by and watch. take him for what he is and im sure it will all come together in the end

    sounds like to me you are on the right path with what your doing to bring your pup on, not forgeting he is only young and next season he will be perfect age, stick at it and take your time im sure you and your pup will both be walking home with a few rabbits in the bag soon enough
