    cheers mate, roughly 1/2 grey 3/8 saluki 1/8 bull ..ish. she bred lurcher x lurcher, no first crosses in her make up for a long while so hard to be exact on percentages. i aint into all that milarky. hope that anser is ok for you mate.

    thats what i was trying to get at mate i was going the long route but i think i would go with something thats pacy and on it like a rash from the start if you like rather than a steady dog just my opinion nice looking mut poacher does look big though a dog with plenty of pace will do much better , speed is a must

    got to look at both sides there mate, not really an anser to that question if you as me, its a very wide open question , dog and deer. good deer will run for its life and could be tricky to bring to the ground for even a expirienced dog. a not so good deer woud maybe not have so much go go in his tank and the result woud come to an end sooner than later..

    of course the holy grail are reds, with there sheer weight considerd , you ad that to the speed that they can reach and youv got some beast on your hands that only expirienced dogs stand a chance at. but also as i said before, a good mature fallow buck is a test for any deer dog. roe also in there own right, high speed quarry. they all take some catching.

    makes me laugh when i hear that old chesnut, deer are shit , they aint a test for a lurcher.. and so on. clearly showing that they have no knowlage on dogs and deer. a seasoned mature fallow buck would give any good lurcher a run for there bollocks. all deer have to have respect in my opinion. all a good sport given fair law

    their one of my faverit types, bred worker to worker i think this cross can result in very good lurchers. some of the best lurchers ive ever seen have been of this cross
