  1. One of my favourite songs by one of my favourite singers. .
  2. First time I heard that tune, enjoyed it. Good choice
  3. Can't be any thing genuine about the man, if so, he'd be in a lab?!?
  4. I must admit, despite the fact I find him amusing, it would be funnier if he was a cartoon character. . Spoilt kids become adults who aren't so funny. .
  5. Couldn't stop laughing when I seen this! 7 years old! Gotta give it to the yanks, even the thick ones sound articulate! In reality I wouldn't know whether to applaud the little fecker or beat the tar out of him! Haha. .
  6. I appreciate someone's gotta do it, but as a rule, I can't stand debt collectors, I think generally speaking, a certain kinda man is attracted to a job like that. . I wouldn't want a job where you could easily throw the baby out with the bath water. . Saying that, I'm sure their are some good blokes with integrity who are doing it because nothing else is available.
  7. I wish my terrier would work like that! Good posts. . Enjoyed them.
  8. Haha. . Reminds me of holding my mothers JRT above my head to stop in getting ripped by my lurcher, another dog jumped to bite the JR, missed and got my arm instead! Was the sorriest thing it did. . But still got the scar to prove it. . Apparently lifting a dog above the aggressor is the wrong thing to do, not much else could've been done though. .
  9. This was the scene of the incident, gave the phone to my little sister in law, had no idea she took the shot!
  10. Haha no, but I can imagine them jumping great heights and widths. .
  11. Why was this thread moved to the general section?? By and large this is one of the more civilised sections of THL. . Not sure if was a wind up or not, but I know one thing, I'm looking forward to the start of the season. . ATB
  12. Happened quite local to me a couple of years back, very depraved behaviour indeed. . I think it's a bit more than mindless sadism. . Seems calculated and specially intentional. . Of is it just for shock appeal?? Whoever it is needs a good kicking for sure. .
  13. I'd be interested in the section. . No it's not hunting, but I do appreciate the drive of the dogs. .
  14. Whats always interesting with these fights between different generations is previous opponents have no real bearing.......years ago they used to call them crossroads fights....2 opponents meeting when going in different directions.......it could be said Froch will never be any better than what he is now and will more than likely be on the way down........yet the likelihood is Groves will only get better than what he is now and will more than likely be an improvement on his last outing...............so the question is does a Froch on the way down still have enough to beat a Groves on the way up
  15. Groves looks the part, granted, he's a good puncher, nice style, quick hands and has got a bit about him too. . But you can't get excited all that much, who has he beaten that could even be compared to Froch? No one. Let's not forget that just over a year ago Carl demolished a one Lucian Bute, who had all the qaulities Groves has and far more too, Carl was actually the under dog in that fight... What will let Groves down will be his temperament, how will he cope with the magnitude of a fight like this? How will he react when he gets banged hard mid way through a round? (and he will) I thin
  16. I think it'll take a better fighter than George Groves to show how old Carl Froch is getting. . What we have here is world class v domestic class, they just so happen to both British and in the same weight division. . I see what gnash is saying, however in Groves Froch is taking on the best of those on his own turf and with it a couple more mil for the bank?? I can only see Froch steam rolling Groves mid to late, he may be frustrated early on, but all the same, a stoppage win for Carl. .
  17. ... Not long got from the beach, tide was in, was launching the ball out to sea for Duke the reject (Wheaton/Grey x Bull/Grey) he loves the ball, will stop at nothing to get it, I use him to exercise Oscar (Whippet/Grey x Deerhound/Grey) he won't chase a ball, but he'll chase another dog. . Was going good, they were running to a point where they had to swim back, after half a dozen throws the two feckers only set about each other with vengence. . I was waist deep before thinking, broke the launcher on them trying to seperate, no good, by the time I pulled them apart they was submerged, literal
  18. I haven't read much of this thread, but enough to gather the travellers have got a bit of slating by some? I can see why, but please understand what an ignorant point of view you who hold that view have. . I was brought up on the road, from nothing to 17 years of age, worked the fields and orchards with them, run dogs with them, fought some and befriended some. . I spent so much time with them I ended up marrying one! Listen, the way our press and media works through it's propaganda, of course they're only going to show the rogues and trouble makers! Only the sheep of society are going to
  19. Alright gents, a pic of the pups taken at a show on the weekend - they were quite popular. They are forming into fine animals indeed, the dog is fleet footed for his size at just over 27"tts now and the bitch is very, very nimble, she can turn on a dime! Looking forward to seeing a bit of potential from them this season. . Cheers
  20. Never really took to the boy, he looks arrogant and I've certainly got no time for a bloke who waxes his legs! So couldn't help but chuckle when I seem this! Is he a bit chinny or was that a decent right hand! Haha
