  1. Welcome to the forum sir, always nice to have people of interest join us here. Plenty of decent folk who are into knives on here, one of our moderators, Paulus, apparently has a few! ATB
  2. Seen a bit of Foster towards the end of his career, gutsy fighter, got beat by the yank, Winky Wright. . No shame there!
  3. Too young. . Leave the pup be for few more months and educate yourself man. All the best
  4. Picked a couple of kits up earlier, cracking, healthy looking tikes. . Brought the whole litter, gill too. Top bloke, pleasure to meet. ATB with the rest.
  5. I wonder how Froch would have got on with these these men. . . Entertaining for sure.
  6. Bit late on it I know! . . I'm not yet convinced with Broner (regardless of the Malinaggi fight) I think he's good, better than a lacy. . But not sure how good. I'd like to see him fight Khan. . If Amir could take his shots I think he'd beat him with his work rate. .
  7. Am I the only one who finds this video hilarious!?! Couple of characters these two were/are.
  8. Both are crackers. . What's the percentage in them?? Roughly speaking.
  9. Pick a strong and healthy looking one. . Give it your best and the rest is luck! All the best, keep us updated.
  10. wouldn't say he`s on the decline --I would say at his age and after all he`s done the next fight he loses will be his last -- only he knows how he came out of the Kessler fight and how much is left in the tank ---since the ward fight he`s picked himself up and cracked on one thing he`s earnt another shot at ward -------- I`d like to see him beat ward then call it a day ... rumour is a 3rd fight with Kessler is on the cards before a rematch with ward ,, Mmm don't get me wrong, I wouldn't argue the point. . Just wasn't convinced with Carl's last performance, yes it was big occasion and won
  11. Yes, I agree that Cleverly could be a potential banana skin for Froch. . Would a great fight none the less. Froch proved himself a long time before now and I for one wouldn't be disappointed if he hung up his gloves here and now. . I think he's on the decline. . But I understand he's got another 3 fights planned and I can see the attraction in the obvious fights, but personally I'd like to see him steer clear of Ward, I think the man simply has his number. .
  12. I don't think big names are avoiding him as such. . More like Warren failing to deliver (world level) much like Calzaghe early on. Cleverly is a very good fighter, fit as a fiddle, high work rate and very durable too. I think Froch v Cleverly would be a great fight, got no interest in Groves, Carl would eat him for breakfast.
  13. but if its only on occasion why wouldn't you? or would you? like ideation said theres a yapper then frustration every now and then Absolutely, don't get me wrong, big difference in a dog that yaps with every stride it takes and a dog that "opens up" out of frustration, I owned a dog that had the latter of the two, entered too young, but best dog I've owned to date though. . No big deal, just don't give them unreasonable runs. . and certainly wouldn't have any issues breeding from one as such, dogs that "open up" are often not to blame. . I'm sure all has already been said.
  14. For me, to keep a "yapper" I would have to really, really like the dog! But could also depend on where your running it, how much ground you have, have you another dog to take out when you don't want to be embarrassed But lets be honest, you wouldn't have it for two minutes if you didn't have permission!!
  15. 2nd cross whippet/grey x first cross deerhound/grey. He's proved capable so far, yet to have his fibre tested with any real continuity yet though. . Cheers.
  16. I know we're all sick of "pics of the dogs" but it is summer, apparently, so here's a couple of mine!!
  17. Welcome to THL sir. Always nice to have experienced hunters join us here.
  18. Match made in heaven looking at those two!! Nice dogs. .
  19. Generally speaking. . I think a man is infinitely better at being a man. . And a woman infinitely better at being a woman! I think we were made different, not better, just different. . It will take braver man than me to come up with examples! Should be an interesting thread. .
