  1. Mmm kind of gives you a self check watching men like that. . Bravo, bravo.
  2. Had this sent to me earlier, some good lessons here! Although I'm not sure what points were aimed at me hmmm. . Anyway. Lesson 1: A man is getting into the shower, just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands David, the next-door neighbor. Before she says a word, David says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.' After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of David. After a few seconds, David hands h
  3. Okay chaps, back to finish what I started. . I'll say now, I shouldn't have started this thread, I hadn't seen the fight until tonight! . . Good points made on this thread, especially those raised by satan80 as has already been acknowledged. I have to agree, I think the occasion got to him and he was found wanting in the "non physical" areas of a fighters armoury. . Now it's easier to appreciate the following illustrations if you've had the experience of being inclosed by ropes and the canvass beneath your feet and I'm not knocking the thoughts of those who haven't. . But the feeling
  4. I like the smallville range, looks good. Best time to buy clobber this time of year, you can get some good deals
  5. All else aside, those are nice looking pups and apparently well bred.
  6. They made a 36 and by the way it fits on me, I'd say it was fair medium size gents.
  7. Bought this new (with tags) from another member last year, but it's too big for me, it fits nice over a fleece and thought it would come in use at some point, but I live in Somerset, not scandinavia! Hence it has never been worn out. Size UK 38 (C 48) £60.00 posted or might consider a swap for a decent fleece or something. Cheers
  8. I think Fury would chin Price. .
  9. Okay, so chinned for the 2nd time in 4 months by the yank. . Where can he go from here?? I'm really not sure, I'm torn between the two following thoughts: 1, "Hang you gloves up" you're never going to reach the heights your hoping for, you're 30, got a suspect chin, been beaten twice by a 41 year old who's been stopped twice by Wladimir Klitschko, Klitschko the very man you're aiming to beat, replace or emulate. . Or 2, you're 30 (not old in heavyweight terms these days) beaten twice by America's number one ranked heavyweight (no disgrace) who in turn apart from an early career loss h
  10. Golovkin reminds me of young Kostya Tyszu, same sort of brutal power and amateur pedigree too. . Sergio is on the way down. . Martin Murray, for me is the 2nd best Middle in the world, but would like to see him beat his British rivals, Barker is no mug. Think Price will avenge the loss, I think the first was a fluke, I'm a little concerned about those whiskers though. .
  11. Cheers soapy, again swift first class service. ATB
  12. I don't think you lack conviction bud!
  13. Mmm brave post GRAM. . The thing is, I'm pretty much the same age as the despicable (the only comparison I'd wish to make) so I remember the headlines back in 94 and I recall thinking, ???? How, why, what??? I had no ability whatsoever to think, ration, relate to how something like that could be done. . Before blame is shifted to their "upbringing" I was well accustomed to domestic violence, the bad effects of alcohol and drugs, it's no excuse, those boys were raised no different than thousands of other kids in that area at the time. . Something inherently, disturbingly wrong with creatur
  14. I seen Golovkin. . Frightening kind of fighter him!! He's calling out Martin Murray!! Who I think is our best middleweight, would be damn good fight that one. .
  15. "Man, you come right out of a comic book" May the man R.I.P
  16. Just seen Groves' last fight, he's looking sharp and has always had a good dig in his arsenal. . Whilst I agree that Froch is on the turn and I too think he would indeed get schooled by Ward again, I still think he's too much for Groves "I'd fancy Carl to drag him into deep water in the later rounds and put a beating on him." Would put money on the fight going that way if it came off and don't see any reason it won't, especially as Hearns promotes the pair of them. .
  17. I think we could learn a trick or two from them yanks! . . No messing.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8cqw4lFc1o Initially thought this shooting was a little harsh, but when I heard he was holding a knife to the little toddlers throat, well that's a different story. . Those yanks don't mess about. .
  19. Where's gnash? I think he was at Froch's last fight and therefore would've seen them both in action, be interested to know his thoughts. . Certainly worth a shot for Groves, he'd be on a massive pay day, the pressure wouldn't be on him as he'd be a heavy underdog and providing he didn't take a sustained beating, he'd come again in the future at just 25 years of age. . ?
  20. I see this fight as nothing more than a warm up for Froch before another block buster fight for him. . Groves has nothing that would bother Carl, his only hope is that the cobra grows old, fast! . . Froch floored Groves sparring, that's with 16/18oz gloves on, pillows compared to the 10oz ones they use on fight night! I hope for a good ref. .
  21. Interested soapy. . Is it this one??
  22. Bit different, I enjoyed that. . Testament to the feet of the dogs! Not easy running, fast dogs.
