  1. I have a Docter Optic 4.5x14x40 with Parallax adjustment + very thin crosshairs that don't obscure target. It's still on the rifle but is for sale.
  2. Used a bore snake on a .222 I had a few years ago. Fired at paper target before and after using the boresnake. Clover leaf group at 100yds before boresnake, after boresnake........... never used it again. My conclusion was..... clean it properly or not at all till the grouping deteriorated.
  3. I have a P.E.S. overbarrel mod on my 204. Quiet + stainless steel so no spraying with WD40 after use and no rust.
  4. Have you registered the patent? Have they been proofed?
  5. Where does it show what licence I have?
  6. Plenty of first language welsh speakers in wales including myself, some school's teach all subjects in welsh.
  7. I've been using the Ruger Hawkeye All Weather .204 for a few years now. I put a Rifle Basix trigger in it.... sweet as you like, had to shorten the front sling stud when I had it first as it was touching the barrel and I couldn't get a tidy grouping. Load my own with Berger 35gn hollow points, 3 in one hole on a 100 yd target+ Great results with foxes. 2 words to describe my 204...... sweet + fun A friend has 2 x 204's, a Hawkeye All weather + a M77 VT with NV,re loads for them using Sierra 39 gn

  10. I'm affraid that fox scent , like a woman's mind , are both mysteries destined never to be understood.
  11. I've experienced this, 2 people sharing a gun cabinet, FEO told me to put all the guns on BOTH certificate's, then you both have legal access to the contents of the cabinet. Call your Firearms enqiery officer to sort it out.
  12. For sale ; approx 90 Berger BT 40 grain Hollow point bullets, tried them , decided to stick with the 35's I was loading previously. Posted in other section aswell by mistake
  13. I have a box of; Berger BT VARMINT 20 CAL 40 grain hollow point , I bought these to compare with the 35 grain that I use but decided to stick with the 35's. Approx 90 left in the box. I don't need these anymore so decided to sell them if anyone in west wales is interested.
  14. Does it state shotgun or rifle? Are there different conditions for shotguns and rifles in the section you refer to?
  15. thanks for your views, FEO calling tomorrow about variation, i'll ask him
  16. Is a non certificate holder allowed to fire a rifle owned by a certificate holder and accompanied by the certifcate holder at a paper target or any live quarry stated on the certificate holder's certificate?
  17. make a lifesize cutout of your intended quarry, peg it at 120yds , see how big it looks with your naked eye and through the scope
  18. Solo the poser, must ave seen the camera
  19. 17 grain Hornady Vmax, clover leaf at 100yds through my CZ. What do you mean by can't zero?
  20. .222. Very accurate,I used Federal 40 grain ballistic tips, clean kills with no exit most of the time. No muzzle flip, no recoil. Whichever calibre you decide to get, put a sound moderator on it. Used the .222 for 3 yrs then changed to a .204. Both do a great job.
