  2. Hi Mark, I bought Crispi Stegg boots last autumn for hunting.I've given them a good test through different conditions and terrain.Fit like a glove, very comfy, warm, great grip on all surfaces except smooth wet concrete or smooth wet stone. Great grip on riverbed though. They are very well designed, 100% waterproof. Friend of mine bought a pair after seeing mine. He's also used them for digging and thinks they are great boots. I love mine and would buy another pair. Only bad thing , I snapped 1 lace while lacing up, on inspection there was a small burr of metal on the inside of 1 of the lace h

  8. CRISPI, STEGG boots After a lot of research I decided on a pair of these, had em a couple of months now and I am delighted with them, very comfy, fit like a glove, plenty of ankle support and terrific grip even while crossing a few normally slippery streams.Time will tell how long they last tho.

  14. B F Goodrich , ALL TERRAIN tyres, go where others fail in snow, mud , wet fields in winter and better mileage than others I tried with no road noise. Had them on a Daihatsu Fourtrack.

  16. Look for boots with VIBRAM soles. Vibram are renowned for being the best at making boot soles.
  17. the nut that attaches the pipe to the tap, is it loose, try tightening it a bit more
  18. heavier loads create higher pressures which could distort the lead pattern ending with only some or none of the shot being on target. Try shooting at a large sheet like a 8ft x 4ft plywood sheet painted white with 1 shell , look at the lead pattern on the sheet. Then repaint and shoot with the other shell and compare the 2 patterns
  19. Have you tried the 42g shells through the semi auto? Do both guns fit the same so you are seeing the same sight picture? Do both guns handle the same? ( same balance or does 1 have a lighter or heavier muzzle)
  20. having read all the advice offered on different calibres and carefully considering your requirements, 2 calibres better suited to your situation would be .308 or a .3006 without the added complication of a sound moderator.
