  2. They will probably ask about your experience . That is measured by the number of rounds fired. Licensed for 6 mths and used 200 rounds is better than 5 yrs and used 20

  6. Get a book and read it . Then you'll know what other info there is in it and you'll be able to make an informed decision as to whether or not it was worth buying .

  9. I thought the same when I started but bought the Hornady manual. Glad I did as I refer to it now and again and the information contained helped me understand thing's easier
  10. Make sure that the barrel is not touching the stock. Slide a sheet of paper between the stock and barrel back to the action to ensure clearance. Check to see if the front sling screw does not go through the stock and touch the barrel when in the firing position. Has it ever had a consistent zero ? eg ; group of 3 in a 2" bull at 100yds

  14. Tried using the snake last night ,bloody mare of a job ,ended up throwing it in the bin. Maybe i was too hasty chucking it. Maybe you could instruct me on the correct way of using it ,if would be so kind If you think a boresnake is a good idea then use a bore guide and drop the weight through that
  15. What about buying primer's ? Can i buy any amount in one day or just the amount on the ticket ?
  16. If the second and third shot are not affected in any noticeable way , why clean after the first , why not clean after the 3rd ? How many would it take before it did affect accuracy ?

  18. i remember reading that it was better to minimize the number of cleaning rod strokes through the barrel to maximize barrel life
  19. Wow After 45 rounds my group size increases a little so i clean my rifle every 30 - 40 rounds fired.
  20. After cleaning how many rounds do you need to fire through it to restore accracy ?
