  1. Right bunch muppets on there. They got fair few followers mind. This heading makes me laugh Badgers 'could be wiped out' warns conservationist ahead of cull I bloody wish the filthy stinking bloody things. Tripping over them round here. They used to be fine 30 years ago. Numbers just right out the way as well.
  2. No room around here any way. Every little bit of spare woodland or scrubby field is getting bought up and people clearing and sticking little carvan or a shed on it. All trying to grab there little bit of countryside. Dam near impossible to walk the dog anywhere now with out bumping into some one
  3. Well put jd take the country side back 30 years and there was a hell of a lot more wildlife at least around here

  7. Yea me gone back to me old yellow. As I have got older the last few years really noticed the eyes not as good.No chance with led plr 500. I go duck shooting with young fella and if he weren't there I wouldn't even know there was ducks about half the time lol. Once its light I am fine but in low light its pretty tough going past a certain range. Like the end of my nose haha

  9. Looks great got to say. Good for you. What happens when you get these big floods though and you stick your head out and and its a raging torrent with old oak trees whistling by. Or don't canals work like that. Its all very interesting how it all actually works. I did watch few youtube videos out of interest once and there's lot of good tips on what to expect etc

  11. Nice thread this. Real character cockers and keen as. Our pet one drove me bonkers but trained from a pup he could been great. Wouldn't rule out another when the lurcher goes and I do lot shooting now a days
  12. Yea look after your lugs. I have had my ears syringed 2 or 3 times in the past and each time you get a great whoosh and you can hear clear as a bell. But had them done last year and no whoosh. So thats them buggered. Lots of years with loud machines and shooting catches up with you
  13. Well thanks for all advice folks I ignored you all and went and bought it lol. I nearly got an astra but the insurance was nearly double for some reason. Any way it drives a treat I really like it. The starter will need doing at some point gives the odd click even with a new battery in. But other than that good. Looks like ex railway service going by the writing under the spray job. Oh and some one spilt a load of diesel in the back and left it and I just cant shift the smell. The dog got out the other day and walked straight by a squirrel ?

  19. If your going to bush with one dog. I would be after some thing biddable you can control. Then you can use stop nets, the gun or maybe get into ferreting. Bushing with one dog is great fun. Mine is not a busher but gundog/busher is my next dog
  20. Mine is the same silent hunting but he held a group of 6 builders at the gate one morning. They wouldn't come in until the wife told him it was ok. His great guard dog
