  1. Mine started marking at 5 months and by 6 or 7 he was reliable enough to rely on for a bit of sport. If any thing though his marking vocabulary has probably expanded so this winter being his first proper one I need to learn all his little hints that there is something about even if he can't get close to the holes. For example he will swing into the wind and start pointing at a bit of hedge or what ever to add I love seeing a dog mark it really makes my day more so than a dog thundering off down the beam though I enjoy that too
  2. Bang on that gnasher. Nail on the head. We must throw 2 meals a week away in my house. Because someone changed their mind or we got too much. We both work full time, got decent paid jobs so why shouldn't we buy what we want and do what we want with it? Maybe it's a generation thing. My old man goes mad. When he was a lad they got a choice of a wagon wheel or a yoghurt. And that was their weekly treat. Lol bloody wagon wheels lol. Used to live in a cafe when I was about 8 and my job was washing dishes all the time. Then every night we all ways had bacon and egg for dinne
  3. When my eldest left for uni and a house share last year I gave her my little slow cooker I had spare. Keep her supplied with veg from the plot and she gets a chick breast or a bit of stewing steak and its all ways bubbling away making the house smell nice apparently. Better than junk food and takeaways

  16. Later in the year you can plant some garlic bulbs if you like garlic. The bulbs cost a bit initially but there on after you can just plant the bigger ones you harvest. Seems quite an easy thing to grow as well
  17. Its working as a team the little fella down below duking it out waiting for you to get there. You can't let him down where ever there might be so it must be a heart breaker to lose one. Closest I came forgot to lead mine up one day as we passed a big earth where a dog had been lost and he disappeared down it as there must have been a bit of scent about thank god it wasn't at home and he came back out. I dived on the little bugger when he came out lol
  18. yea just read this so maybe your right Don't be tempted to touch anything on a roadside, or even near a road, there are a number of really serious (and painful) conditions you could end up with. In addition, a number of these poisons are acclumative, i.e. they lie in fatty tissues and you do not really notice the effects until the toxicity reaches a certain level in the body. In some other cases, there is no cure and/or any damage done is irreversible. Just in case you were wondering: Roadside foods can contain: Lead: This is absorbed through soft fruit skins: interferes with the normal
