  2. A braver man than me to deal with that, we have a few smack head brass not to far away, not a tooth in there head and the old age pensioner's spend their pension on them they love it. " You dirty old man "
  3. Lovely trout tb25 and crackin barbel lurcherman, good fishing by the look's of it.
  4. Now that's funny, malt, it wasn't the liverpool bit, i was more angry at the "down's syndrome" bit, i have heard everything said about scouser's and i can throw a few in for anyone, some of them i agree with, lot of rat's in this town i'm the first to admit it, but fcuk it, it's all bollock's and i might of jumped a bit early.
  5. Now, now, i have heard a lot of scouse jokes but that is the worst, i usually laugh at most of them but that one was a bit shit, i know we will rob your wheels, the eyes out your sockets and all the rest of the thieving we do, but we stopped all that in the eighties, we just fcuk scottish women who are bored with there husband's now, not meant for any other scot on here, i have known some good lad's from up there who wouldn't think of that shit joke, but they have give me a few belter's.
  6. I have seen the phil blakely vid and a few more of his, ok vid's and he show's you how he goes about thing's, seem's like a good fella (not gangster ) i have also seen the big grub's and thought that they must be similar to an eel in the water, what size jig head would you use with them neil, i think i could sort out the harness by following phil's vid but i'm crap working out hook size i need on jig head's, usually learn that by mistake first and then work out the size, cheer's for the tip on the freestyler, i will try that out, i have never used the bigger lures but i will now give them a g
  7. Never used bulldawgs but I do have springdawgs that have never got wet, I think I need to try a few of the bigger lures this year I have got a few sg freestylers I think there called that are big, you have got me started now mate, I need to get out and no work till tuesday.
  8. The newer big s are not the same your right, i only have the newer ones now, but i have caught a few times on them like most thing's they save money and use cheap plastic or what ever it is, i have a few creek chub pikie's that are jointed and about 20cm or more, i used to love the smaller one's not jointed, i have 6 that i bought of someone but they have never got wet, they will this year, again not the same as the older type but we will see what they can do later in the year.
  9. When all else fails put a big s on, i was told that a while ago and it has worked a few times, i think most have a big s or something similar.
  10. That's more like it, give it to them jd, you're not messing about with that type of tackle i can feel a lot of pic's are coming, good luck.
  11. File too big it say's, fcuk it.
  12. Can't sort a pic mate but they are crank n shad crankbaits, went on his site for the name, he does a few surface crawlers that will be costing me a few quid as i like the look of them and i have never used a surface lure, it look's exciting stuff, had them take on top as i'm lifting and that be a shock so i will hope to have a few that way for a change.
  13. Look's like my name is going in the prince A pot, as for the lures i will put a pic up of them you might know the name of them.
  14. The Bang O Lure was the first balsa wood bait made by the late Jim Bagley. Improved and perfected over the years this bait offers tremendous performance to serious anglers. Fish it on the surface like a jerk bait then on the retrieve it has a very wide wobble that big fish love. The body is wider than other balsa minnow style baits making this lure very easy to cast. Amazon say's above , i think i would sell it mate,if it's worth a few quid, because i would be to careful casting it and would fish it different but what ever way you look at it you win, cost little, worth much and a great fi
  15. Stronger tackle for snaggy spot's, has to be done, good luck jd and hope you get some of them lures back aswell as your 4, neil the comp was a facebook comp, but he does some great lures, i just don't know how you remember all the names of them, but usually i have a look and it's " oh them one's" haha, prince albert member, you have to sacrifice your first born to get on their water's, i heard long waiting list, but i should just put my name down as nothing to loose, when the time comes, well it's my choice then.
  16. Neil have you had a look at mark houghton lures, i had a few and then he done a competition and fcuk me, i won haha, so a set of more custom lures from him, but he does some great looking lures, that do catch pike and perch and probably more, cheer's.
  17. I have seen these neil and do like the look of them but just wasn't sure, i will be getting a few of them now to take swimming, thanks. ps, do you use a jig head with them or do you drop shot, i prefer jig head's, but that is just me, i have done a bit of drop shotting.
  18. Great fish jd, have you lost £50 then £30 of grubs, now that is a lot of lures, i personally like curly tail grubs but my favourite has to be kopyto's in yellow or white depending on the colour of the water i am fishing, AGM do these type of lures pretty cheap, worth a look on their site, good luck and hope you get your 4lber.
  19. If your into freshwater spinning that LAS forum is a good place, a lot of experienced lure angler's on there, you can join for £20 and you get 4 mags through the year, or just go on the forum, lot's to learn of a few of them.
  20. The right person could work wonder's with this fella and i think he would be so loyal to whoever spent time with him and learned him the right way's, could even end up being a bit of a moocher, i think you need someone who has no dog and really want's to put the work in, good luck and hope the little fella find's his place.
  21. I will never look at a whwt, in the same way again, makes me realise what some of them park pisser's could do, if shown the right way when young.
  22. have you read it? No, can't be arsed, i have all kind's of book's mainly fishing, worth a few quid, got the original redmire pool by kev clifford and a few other's jim shelley's two, not sure what else, but book prices are on there arse, so i will probably leave in the cupboard, i think in time i hope some young lad of my kid's enjoy's them all, someone should.
  23. Has anyone no what the book "work them hard, treat like heroe's" is worth in excellent condition.
