    Is anyone out pike fishing, i can't wait to get out, going to try the lures first, with a bit of luck next week, then deadbait's should be out from november depending on the weather, i hope this winter will be a good one, plan on doing a lot more but said that last year and ended up not doing very much, going to start making new traces up, try and get as many done as i can so i don't have to make some up every now and then, check rod's reel's and respool with line, check braid, maybe cut 20ft off, just incase, so a busy weekend, i should be ready then if the weather cools a bit.Having a look a

    Redmire by Kevin Clifford is now going for £100 a copy I never really liked this book and loads of people really rate it, i'm starting to like it a bit more now i know it's worth £100, looks like i'm getting rid of it, cheers for the head's up about it.

    Hi mate, I caught red snapper on plugs in the caribean, the locals said you use hard back crabs for the parrot fish but they're not easy to catch, I would think fish baits, lures etc would be the best way to go..     Exactly, i have never owned a e.b.t. but the odd ones i have been about seem to not have any get up and go, they seem dumb, also never seen an active one, not interested in nothing, but there must be a few ok ones here and there.

    I've only stayed local myself up to now this year, been enjoying it but nothing big, been doing mainly carp fishing, only had up to low doubles but a mate has been learning so we've had a bit of fun and plenty of runs, done a little bit of lure fishing but again only small fish, i'm starting to think about getting on a few new places, try and get in to the better fish, got a few in mind but haven't been on a river for a while and i would love to get back on the river dee or something similar.

    Powdered grounbait mixed with an egg, try to keep it a bit on the firm side, maybe hair rig a bit of a frame to mould the paste around.

    I don't mind a bit of a walk about to see whats about, but a rod and line suits me better than a lemonade bottle, but what ever suits you is ok with me, each to there own, as long as you enjoy it.

    I think we all tolarate certain things different, if you have had a child with a serious illness you are not going to laugh at a joke about it, i don't think i could laugh at any joke about a kid being hurt or similar.
