  1. No. She only has guns to defend herself. And a Type 45 destroyer for if it really goes pear-shaped.

    No escape.

That's easy. I'd just walk in a straight line and by the time he'd done the assault course I'd be in my car and away.
  3. The size of her! Makes you proud to be British.
  4. Start off at a reputable gun shop. They'll steer you in the right direction and ensure the gun fits you which is the most important thing really. Don't know of any shops up that way but phone around. You'll be able to tell the difference between someone who knows what they are talking about and a salesman.
  5. Decent gun. Best advice is to go and handle a few different makes. I friend of mine was going to buy a Beretta but ended up with a Browning because it felt better to him. Other people might find the opposite.
  6. Fox, badger, crow, buzzard, rat or all of the above.
  7. 2 months off his 100th birthday. RIP.
  8. Don't forget to reset the time on your trailcam.
  9. England 5th. FFS. Now I know how Wales felt last year in the 6 Nations and the Autumn Cup. Well done Wales. Deserved to win.
  10. I suspect you have a dodgy camera and the pics are bad because it's dodgy, not because it's Chinese. If you got a new one the same make it might be perfect but it might not be. I bought a chinese camera to replace my Bushnell when it died and it was terrible, but I've heard reports people with the same make having no problems. I just reckon the percentage of duff cameras per production run is higher with the cheaper ones. I got a Browning in the end and it's spot on. I think it was just over £100.

    Pet hates.

    Everything everyone says or does.
  12. Be more to the point to have a curfew for policemen.,
  13. Glass is specifically excluded from most of the major carriers. Sent at the sender's risk.
  14. Anyone wondering what words are and aren't acceptable is missing the point entirely. It's about the same people diving into topics and ruining them every time they pipe up.
  15. West Wales. The regulations here are the same as the first post. I was talking on the phone to a mate who lives in the South East about it and he had never heard of it even though he loves his sea fishing.
  16. Thanks BH. You've managed to sum up what I was trying to say in one paragraph.
  17. Agreed. Anything can be discussed in a reasonable manner. Hopefully the children will take this on board and leave the adults to talk about adult stuff.
  18. This thread was purely to point out the forum guidelines in case anyone missed them, not to turn it into another opportunity for a dig. Now everyone is aware of the same thing, I assume there will be no crying when people get moderated instead of being given the chance to act like grown ups.
  19. Perhaps the mods don't read threads in real time waiting to pounce. Perhaps they assume adults can talk like adults. ?
  20. Yet another vaccine thread has bitten the dust due to the usual. We all know who's pro and who's con so unless people can start talking sensibly about the subject, any new topics will go the same way. Can I just remind you: (and this applies to all topics in all forums) You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, violative of any law or otherwise damaging t
  21. I read this and told my mate about it. He'd never heard of it. Is it different in different parts of the country?
  22. You'd just slept through 30 seconds of your alarm and your brain worked it into the dream. I have some cracking dreams. Yesterday I dreamed I was sitting in my truck talking to Boris Johnson who was standing on the kerb. He offered me a "universal driving licence" that covered me to drive anything from bikes to boats, planes and helicopters. I said I couldn't actually fly a plane and he said it doesn't matter and gave me a massive A4 size driving licence.
