Anyone wondering what words are and aren't acceptable is missing the point entirely. It's about the same people diving into topics and ruining them every time they pipe up.

West Wales. The regulations here are the same as the first post. I was talking on the phone to a mate who lives in the South East about it and he had never heard of it even though he loves his sea fishing.

Agreed. Anything can be discussed in a reasonable manner. Hopefully the children will take this on board and leave the adults to talk about adult stuff.

This thread was purely to point out the forum guidelines in case anyone missed them, not to turn it into another opportunity for a dig. Now everyone is aware of the same thing, I assume there will be no crying when people get moderated instead of being given the chance to act like grown ups.

You'd just slept through 30 seconds of your alarm and your brain worked it into the dream. I have some cracking dreams. Yesterday I dreamed I was sitting in my truck talking to Boris Johnson who was standing on the kerb. He offered me a "universal driving licence" that covered me to drive anything from bikes to boats, planes and helicopters. I said I couldn't actually fly a plane and he said it doesn't matter and gave me a massive A4 size driving licence.

That's actually incorrect. One place I used to go insisted I call plod and on one occasion I spoke to a particularly thick operator who didn't understand what I wanted but she went through the motions. A short while later I got an Inspector (Surrey police) call me back, apologise for the confusion and ask me to confirm what I had been calling about. He thought it was a great idea as in his words "If we get a call, we know about it and don't have to send a team out."

That's why I wondered if your camera was OK. Most are pretty much plug the batteries in and switch it on. The options are mostly for fine tuning, not getting to actually work.
