    barb wire is a vets dream i hate the stuff when possible i chuck my coat over it for the dog to jump over my old donkey jacket use to be good for that no tears or rips has tough has old boots that stuff but running dogs your bound to get a rip or two saying that ive seen dogs bounce of at full tilt and your expecting the worst and nothing hope the dog mends up quickly matey the cut looks clean and dry so hopefully not long

    a dog thats pulls and jumps about then yes johnny you need a good slip lead but a steady educated dog doesnt need a slip or something fancy a simple loop will do has ask your mate

    When you put a lead around a dogs neck if dog pulls it's head back it gets out, collar stops this, and lead with clip cut off slips under coller so you hold cut end, when you let that go it slides under collar and dog is free and running. Gafers is an all in the 1, a collar attached to a lead that all comes free when the loose end is let go you been talking to your mate in the pub whats his take on this

    a lot of time and work and the quality of leather there also other product that go on to the leather its expensive to do to get quality gear i dont think anyone could argue about the workmanship gaf and the time and what goes in to your leads wouldnt leave you with little if any profit

    im not questioning gaffers workmanship but what is the difference alot of the time i dont use a slip but when i do i dont need a collar johnnny simply loop the lead around the dogs neck and hold the ends together

    gafer theres no doubting your workmanship they look top draw and a good price but what if you if you bought a cheap leather lead and cut the metal clip of what difference is there except price not trying to be clever or anything mate honest question
