Yes i stand corrected ....though if im not wrong that was when there was only 12 teams in the league......think Spurs were first since it was 20....or 22 as it was then........i remember an old Spurs fan i used to know coming up with a strange little coincidence .....apparently the double year when Spurs won the league Preston finished bottom !! spot on nash pne finished bottom and were relegated and have never returned to top flight football since and the 60 61 season had i think 22 teams making spurs double a better achievement

the northwest has always been more appealing and has always had alot more success to max some players want success and to be a part of something not everything comes down to money and if yous cant go out a buy the best invest in your youth the northeast should be producing alot more players than it does look at what southamptons home grown talent have come through in the last few years more than you and nufc combined maybe thats the way forward

always try a get along with mine once had a accident with a neighbours rabbit after one of the dogs got to it it was replaced within the hour along with some flowers for the mother and a groveling apology having good neighbours can save a lot of grief and be a god send at times sorry matey but that attitude you showed is wrong especially has it was more than likely some kids and i have seen astanley on here get offered to go off line for less
