I would intervene. I have the firm belief that nothing is that bad that you can't go on. If someone wants to take their own life there are ways it can be done without any possibility of intervention, the scenario you have described could well be a cry for a help, I'd not want that on my conscious.

I'm in exactly the same boat Accip. my fear with the cheap ones is they malfunction, either don't work or deliver to much uncontrolled... I'd be interested to hear if anyone has tried one from here, the amazon reviews are fairly positive but, still I'd like more views.

Well.... Fkin bizarre the way this thread has thread has flipped and flopped. Myself?...I'm selfishly thankful none of my extended family were affected, they easily could have been... did it to me last year, didn't have two visits this year though. I seem to remember the vet saying something along the lines of a different brand vaccine, I didn't get charged anymore.

Looking at this in a very cold light I'd say the pup was making noise and the house thieving scum wanted it silenced but didn't have the minerals to break / cut its neck.... I'd very much like them to be caught and for their punishment to fit their crime....scum.
