  1. It's a forum for discussing terriers, what's your point?? My point is that there is a lot of talk on here about working Borders but not that many decent working Borders around. You cant really know that mate if you think about it. You can only really know there are a lot of none workers,but that can be said of lots of breeds from Patterdales to Cocker spaniels.

  10. A friend of mine is very interested in finding a small shoot for around 4 or 5 pounds per acre to more or less keeper himself and just invite one or two mates for a bit of rough shooting. He is based in the midlands and semi retired. Could anyone offer any advice on how to go about things. I thinks its around 200 to 500 acres hes aiming at. Any help would be appreciated.   18. It depends whether you are talking about hunting hounds killing foxes or Hounds being used to flush to a gun. There can be nothing has demoralising to a pack than having its quarry gunned down from under its nose in full cry. A pack in blood goes best of all and a pack that continually fails gets less likely to be good as time goes on. Fox Hunting and Fox control are two diffrent things.
