    Is that the Cumbria Beagles thats hunted by an older chap...John something? When I followed them at Shap I think it was. They used radios because they are all getting on a bit. Great little pack, we had a smashing afternoons sport with them. Besides my wife kids and me there was only one other bloke making up the field and he came on the bus! I think they are still going arnt they?hope so.

    What are they like the Durham and tees? Im not from that way myself I just went out with the ND whilst i was on a holiday. They are leggy,fast with a hard jacket. They just went like stink that day.I was very impressed.

    If she is past it she wont get a proper season. If she is healthy it should be ok in my limited opinion. I have mated bitches of 6. One in particular i remember,it was her first litter and she just didnt know what to do when it came to giving birth.She needed help from the vet but otherwise had a very healthy litter. How is your bitch bred by the way?

    Or use panacur in a small syringe. You do it over three days,at about .5ml per kilo. £20 per 100ml bottle or sachets.

    The petite will go through a brick wall. The drive is turbo boosted,but they will switch and hunt whatever comes.Keeping them to Fox never mind the same Fox might be a tad difficult. Beagles are better.

    I agree with the half cross theory, but also I think in fairness you should be talking about hard driven dogs only,as these types test durability.Any cur can avoid knocks.A dog that does what he can to catch whats in front of him regardless is the one that needs to be durable. Ive seen some very hardy half cross Collie/greys and ive seen others (well known breeder)that tried to catch a rabbit on plough by running around the headland after it. The owner tried to laugh it off and say hes clever but I could feel his shame. The Greyhound needs to be reduced to at least half whatever you cross it w
