  1. Probably hissing at the other jill in her cage with her kits, take the other jill out and wean off the kits into a seperate cage, split them all up then that gives you the best chance. atb.
  2. Yep fine just chuck them in, you will probably find the shot in the hutch one day. atb.
  3. Go for a 6oz long net, 4oz is a pain and catches everything but a 10oz will not tangle the rabbit up and wrap around it enough, MK1 Locators are not much Cheaper than MK3 on Ebay but if you buy new you will have the warrenty which some people have used time and time agin!. Atb.
  4. Tell them you got the other one for free! or just dont tell them haha.
  5. I think if a ferret wants to work it will work hard jill or hob, i prefer jills but my best worker was a hob who had so much power and dragged them out of the burrow many a time. Atb
  6. Serriously look into getting it a mate, it will be no more hassle with two of them and both you and th ferret will get more out of it!
  7. Like others said, some company wouldnt go a miss and dont rush into working it.
  8. If anything i would say my jills go for longer, i work them all day in the winter and they crack on well.
  9. http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php?614306-BSA-supersport That would be a start.
  10. Because some of these names are made up for extra money.... i mean micro that just means small and eu could be a welsh or french ferret there both in europe and as for angora!........and they have been catagorized, Abino, Sandy, Silver, Silver Mitt and Polecat etc, but if you ask most on here it dosent matter, the working quality of a ferret is more important!
  11. Pro sport! I have been using my TX200, and was looking at getting a PCP at X mas time, but the tx200 dose all i want and more, it can out shoot me by a mile, so the Pro sport will be my next rifle, i am probably biased though as i have never fired a PCP so i might not know what im missing but i plan to keep it that way and get the pro sport!, i dont think you could get a better looking rifle and others say it feels like a tuned rifle out of the box! Atb.
  12. http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php?614306-BSA-supersport Its a start! Atb.
  13. Thanks for the offers, i have a few that i will take up now, i have worked ferrets 14 yrs now, never did i think i would hear "my ferrets live inside and get along well with the pet rabbit and guniea pig" God knows what next! Micro, Jumbo, Angora, EU, Middle east, Greyhound..............The list will get bigger and biger over time! Atb
  14. Yeah, probably looking at the wrong sites, i.e gumtree and all that junk, not had a new kit in a few years and most lads have packed up around here, traveling is not a problem for a working line of that quality. Atb.
  15. I think bisley do a set and the size is 13.5mm for the underleaver or there is an uncle mikes set aslo both on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300729594357?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bisley-SHOTGUN-RIFLE-SLING-SWIVELS-Barrel-Wood-Fit-/110597725524?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&var=&hash=item19c0235d54 atb.
  16. Started to look for a hob or two to bring in, as my two hobs are knocking on both breeding and working wise, messaged a few people on various sites and they object to them being used for working if you ask if the parents work, one lady even said her ferrets got on fine with the pet rabbit and guinea pig! ha got to be a joke right, but is it? some of these ferret lines have prob never seen a rabbit burrow in 10 - 12 years? Its no wonder its getting harder to find a new working ferret worth its weight in gold!. So if anyone in the bucks area has some hob kits this year i would be more than int
  17. Dont rush it all, if they work fine wait till next year to breed or something, need to gain a bit of their trust first i would of fought, i dont normaly breed a jill unless she has put in a full season of good work. Might just be me. Atb
  18. I was going to say albert64 comes to mind, good luck getting her back.
  19. I used a courier, booked it about 2 days in advance and it cost around £10, well packed and it should be ok.
  20. Dose it have a number engraved on it like 11? if so your still ok for warrenty, if you have the paperwork? Is it dead or just faulty?
  21. Just do abit more research before jumping in, theres plenty of sound advice on here, and the s410 would be far better than this stealth thing. Atb.
  22. Thats a nice looking stock, bet it packs a punch aswel! Atb.
  23. Used it for years with a bit of hot warter, never done mine any harm.
  24. I always prefer jills seem to work better for me, but do have a pair of big hobs to send down sometimes to act as the heavys, the jills are more likley to live together during breeding season compared to hobbs, but this could go either way, never under estimate a ferret! Jills will also need to be took out of season aswell, weather its breeding, jaffa hob or injection, so swings and round abouts! My oppinion is Jills but its just me personaly. Atb.
