    It can be a slow day ferreting with hobs , lots of boddys below ground I prefer a box of jills allday long . Couldnt agree more, never had any problems with gills.

    ha yeah its put me in a bit fought at the moment though i think i might keep a few of the hobs back and have a go at working them, only ever worked gills before, but could do with some brusiers down the whole!

    Funny you got plenty of gills nearly twice as many as hobs,! and i ended up with 1 gill and 6 hobs. Atb with them!

    Yeah its only natural, once i put them all through the jaffa hob and once they are out of season they are all fine with each other again, its just the season, just keep an eye on it and the gills neck where she is being grabbed. Atb

    Cheers thanks will be good to watch them learning to work come winter, not had any in a few years so lets hope they are as good as there mother!

    What are the options Joe? As I've read enough posts on here saying you can't do this and you've got to do that, then someone will follow with, no you don't need to do that etc etc. Spey them, jab them, put a vas hob on them - an entire hob is only if you want to breed... Is that all the options? Which would you recommend? Best thing i think is to get your hob snipped then he can carry out his dutys for years to come on as many jills as you want and seeing as its around £60 its cheaper than jill jabs all the time, then if you do want to breed ask around for a decent work

    Yeah they are silvers thats what there mother is and farther is a silver mit, its just i have never seen stripes like that before, your right it will probably will fade out though.

    3 Weeks old, Kits Looking Fit and Well There Mother has done a great job as a first time mum, and all have homes to go to, although on the white kits they have black patches / lines, i have never seen this before, it dose not show up well, just wondering if anybody else has seen this before? Many Thanks.

    Six-legged ferrets are better workers than micros and polecat hybrids, you'll shift them £100 each no bother! And if you put EU in front that pushes them up!

    Same here mine are all the same snap at my hand, its only protective so i dont realy worry, but i just keep them on dry ferret food when they are in tup save moving there bedding around to find remains.
