  4. And you find it Alarming and Irisponsible.? Your best off sticking to paper & potato's buddy..no offence...This after all is a Hunting Life Forum.I wouldnt want to see you getting All Alarmed and upset. Youl read plentey of the lad threads boasting good long range kill shots and why not if they can do it. I dropped a rabbit at 82 yards recently with a .177 in windy conditions...how do you feel about that.? Not somthing iv done often but i felt like doing it at the time. Marty. 6. I would say 40- 45rds would be the max i would take and the max i have the confidence to take that shot, but watching some of the clips on here shows you can take the shots around 60yrds if you know what you are doing with experiance.
  7. I decided to buy the Airmax on saturday, the 4-12 x 50 AO and its a great scope the build quality is great and the optics are well worth the money. In all i dont regret buying mine!
  8. Nowt wrong with badges I'm not ashamed nor do I care that people know that I shoot, However no-one would ever guess that I am a shooter when I walk down the street with my jacket on. The four in a line indicates my aquired level with multishot pistols (Still got to do the Expert and Distinguished Expert levels when I can be bothered; then onto the Advanced Levels for speed and accuracy). The Star commemorates the Bianchi International 50th Anniversary Shoot. On the left is a Beretta Pin, Smith & Wesson Pin, a Bolt action Rifle Pin and my ID

Hi, i am looking to replace the scope on my tx200, i have around £100 to spend and it will mainly be used at around 30-40 yrds and the odd bit of lamping, i have always been a fan of Hawke and am probably looking to get another, but there are that many now, HD, Varmint, Airmax etc, which would be best or is there a better branded scope for the money? Many thanks for the help Ben.

  21. Being a farmers son, you have got to remember farmers will always be wary, for all they know you could be scouting out their quad bike or trailer or even scrap, there are that many gypos around here so they would sooner trust nobody! So just tell them you will be out late at nights and will also be eyes and ears for their land while you are out and about. Always go decent dressed aswell no Trainers and Trackys. Atb.
  22. Thanks for the offer, i have hopefully sorted it ot now, it seems much more reponsive and a better second stage, but i think t was the load grub screw causing the problem, so fingers crossed. Thanks again.
